I purchased a groupon and made an appointment for the Lexington Ave location. The phone agent was very warm and friendly. I had a great first impression. Upon arrival to the spa, I was greeted with smiles, beautiful faces and upbeat attitudes. The two ladies at the front desk are absolutely delightful. Loved them. I was offered tea and agua fresca. Very happy reception. I got good feedback from the facial which was ok and paid for an additional service on top of the groupon. The facial room was a bit too bright so closing my eyes in a bright space didn't relax me. It felt slightly clinical. Overall, I would go back again so I signed up for the membership for $60 a month before tax. When I went to use the bathroom it was advertised for $49, before tax, on a flyer on the door. Clearly discrepant, but I chose to not bring it up to the front desk. They were so wonderful that I didn't want to fuss with such lovely ladies.

I found Skin Spa on a deal on Groupon and I'm glad that I did. Mary was very knowledgable and helpful regarding my skin concerns. I'll be a repeat customer for sure.

My specialist was Sarah, and she was incredibly nice offering more tips on how I can improve the tension in my upper back/shoulders!

I had a 6:15 appointment for microdermabrasion (switched to 6:30 but they let me know through courteous messaging). My treatment was 30 minutes long but it was very professional and well done and I felt very comfortable after it was done

I gave it a few days to see the result of this particular session and overall it has turned out to be very good. The sessions was shorter than I'd expected and the recommended procedure seemed to be effective.

I bought 6 waxing sessions at a promotional value last year and had 3 sessions left. However, they stated in their records I only bought 3 sessions and cannot honor the promotion because it is not in their system despite letting me know the manager and previous employees are no longer there so they might have forgotten to input it in their system.

In all I had a good experience, the treatment was great and technician was very good as well. She spoke very politely and explained me all the process in detail. The only issue I faced was with the receptionist at the final checkout after the treatment. I bought " Choice of two Customized Facials, Microdermabrasions, or Power Peels" from Groupon (please see attached the receipt), she charged me separately for powerpeel ($56) claiming that I can only use 1 Facial at a time. This policy is not written anywhere and the technician advised me to take them together as its more efficient. I obviously want to respect the policy but somebody has to tell the customer about the policy and give it in writing. I expected better customer support from the receptionist but she was unhelpful and simply didn't care. Please let me know if Skin Spa New York can either guide me where this policy is written or take some action to resolve this issue.
