Extremely Disappointed With My SkinCeuticals Experience
This is honestly the worst experience I have ever had with SkinCeuticals. My package was marked as delivered, and the courier provided a photo as proof of delivery. However, the package was not delivered to my unit door. Instead, it was left in the building's mailroom. What makes this particularly frustrating is that the mailroom is inside the two secured entrance doors of the building. The courier clearly had access to the building and was able to get inside. They had access to the elevator and could have proceeded to my unit door to complete the delivery. When I contacted SkinCeuticals, I was essentially told that because the courier provided a delivery photo, they considered the package successfully delivered and could not proceed with a claim. I was also told that couriers may not have access to individual units and may therefore leave packages in a common safe location. That explanation does not make sense in this situation. The courier had already entered the building. The issue isn't whether there was a delivery photo — the issue is that the package was left in a common area rather than being delivered to my actual unit. I am extremely disappointed that SkinCeuticals chose to rely on the courier's photograph instead of actually looking at the circumstances of the delivery and addressing my concern as a customer. I have purchased SkinCeuticals products before and expected a much higher level of customer service. Unfortunately, this experience has seriously changed my impression of the company. A delivery scan saying "delivered" should not automatically end the conversation when the package was clearly not delivered to the customer's door. I hope SkinCeuticals takes this feedback seriously and reviews how situations like this are handled.
