Only wore my watch twice and the clasp…
Only wore my watch twice and the clasp on the mesh strap broke, luckily I bought it from Amazon who have refunded my money. Certainly wouldn't buy another Skagen watch.

Very attractive watches but poor quality. The last one I owned, the minute hand literally fell off and was rattling around inside the case.

Terrible terrible experience. I purchased my first Skagen watch last year. After having the watch for several months, it stopped working. I took this to a jeweler who replaced the battery. Two days later the watch stopped working again. Jeweler stated the battery was new and that there was a issue with the watch, and I should send watch to Skagen for repairs. I sent the watch to Skagen. The watch was supposedly repaired and sent back to me. Stopped working AGAIN two days later! I sent the watch back to Skagen, received a replacement watch in the mail THAT WAS NOT WORKING when I received it! This happened to me TWO different times! How does that even happen? I am finally forced to drive a store and use a store credit from Skagen, to purchase another watch. I will be purchasing a different brand! I will not be purchasing this brand again. Very disappointing.

I've purchased 3 Skagen Men's wristwatches over the past 5 years & all 3 either stopped working, had time markers fall off, &/or watch hands become detached. The only option is to send them to their certified repair location in Dallas, TX; prepaying $50 online to cover shipping & an initial service fee. As it's been said "You Get What You Pay For" Do yourself a favor upfront - spend the extra $'s to purchase a Seiko, Citizen, Tissot, etc. & you'll possess a reasonably priced timepiece that will last & endure for more than a handful of years..

Nice watch until you have to replace the leather strap. Retailers e.g John Lewis do not sell the straps so you have to order online. I searched on the Skagen website based on my watch model number and chose the strap that looked liked mine. When it arrived it was wrong. I called Skagen/Fossil and eventually found someone who knew what they were talking about. Apparently some straps are not available on the website! They sent me the correct one and I had to return the incorrect one. When the new one arrived I took it to John Lewis, where I bought it from, and asked them if they could fit it for me. They couldn't. In the end I had to buy a set of jeweler's screwdrivers to fit the new strap.

I love the look of the watches......However I have had two over the last few years and both watch straps have frayed leaving the watch unusable as the sharp metal spikes catch on skin and clothes. I wrote to skagen - the response was less than helpful in that I was offered the opportunity to buy another strap. The replacement straps are very expensive and seem to require a specialist to fit then. All in all more trouble than it is worth.

Disappointing and rubbish watch. Glass not covered under warranty yet only 2 months old and took no hard knock. Back of the watch states 'super hardened mineral crystal'. Definitely not hardened or tough enough for every-day use. This is the 1st watch i've had in my lifetime that has had the glass crack. Utterly disappointed with the Skagen brand and will definitely not be buying again. Wish I had checked TrustPilot reviews first before my purchase. I can see Skagen have a scathingly bad reputation for quality and service.
