Awesome product. Especially considering the price. I'd say Gen2+ level. But with a camera function. This product it the single best alternative for the very expensive real thing. Tested and used it thoroughly. Simply amazing... And the new generation SiOnyx promises even to be even better. 100% score up till now. Not kidding.

Amazing Night Vision camera. I had previously purchased a competitor, the quality and detail of the SiOnyx was light years ahead of the best competition. I highly recommend SiOnyx to recreational boater for night vision. The crispness, sharp details, overall picture is amazing.

Here is the letter I sent to Sionyx: Hello Mr. Bobrowski, I just got home from a trip and found in my mail the package you sent, with the Sionyx battery, the carry bag, lanyard and quick start guide. I'm very grateful and I have to compliment you on your splendid customer service. You were most kind to me during our telephone call and follow up, and now this! I didn't expect it. It makes the experience of your Sionyx Aurora all the more rewarding. You have my admiration and deepest thanks. My best wishes to you and your company in the future. I will recommend your product--and you--most highly!

The sionyx aurora action is an amazing NV and twilight viewer/camera. Considering competing NV equipment, this product is downright cheap. I just find it to be a lot of fun to use. The results are something you are just not going to get without spending a fortune on military grade hardware.
