Hi Adam, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We value your feedback! There are a couple of ways to enhance the overall experience with the Aurora: 1) You can adjust the brightness settings in the menu by doing a long press on "set" while in video mode. 2) We work with partners who have created custom eye cups for the Aurora that make it easier to view at night. Hey Bill, Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review! We appreciate your feedback. To ensure you are getting the best video quality: 1) Make sure your Aurora is set to "Night mode" near the focus ring 2) Adjust resolution/frame rate in video mode for the best viewing experience (We recommend 720p 30fps or 360p 30fps) 3) Adjust gain if needed with the up and down arrows depending on your lighting conditions The Aurora will require some moonlight and starlight to give you the best image quality. In conditions with very little ambient light or moonlight, then we recommend using an IR illuminator (850nm or 940nm) This will preserve image quality and allow you to see in pitch black scenarios.
