My overall experience with Simply Moving was very good. I move a lot, 7 times in the US in the past 5 years so I have experience. The person who came to our house to give us the estimate was very professional. I had to change the moving date once and they were also very good and understanding. The moving crew was excellent. It was a big move and they were always in a good mood and extremely professional and helpful. Where can Simply Moving improve? When the boxes arrived to the new house, we were surprised to learn that we needed to empty the boxes that contained the hanging clothes (the big improvised closet boxes) because those were rented and had to go back. This should have been specified to us. It is not a given that you will have space to do this. This is the first company that I have work with that has this policy. We had to improvise hanging spaces in the middle of the chaos which was very stressful. Also, the estimated cost is what you will pay. There are no adjustments post moving. This is not positive nor negative, just something to take into account. Don't expect any money back but I think they are also fair that they won't charge you more than the estimation.

They did a fantastic job

I was at a loss for how to even begin finding a moving company to move us from Brooklyn to Montclair. I took it as a sign when I saw an advertisement for unpakt.com on the subway. After listing our times, we decided to go with Simply Moving based on the price and reviews. On the morning of the move, the truck arrived with three men, Tony, Patrick and Lucien. They were amazing. They wrapped our furniture, were totally efficient, talked to me as they worked, didn't get annoyed by my nosey 4 year old daughter, and unloaded the truck at lightening speed when they arrived at our new home. Every item made it, nothing broke and they checked in with us to make sure every box and piece of furniture went to the proper room. My husband is still talking about how impressed he is by their strength. We have been bragging to everyone. We have zero complaints. They deserve a bonus!

The team did an amazing job with the move, except they showed up almost 2hrs late. Otherwise, was a great move, would definitely recommend.

The crew from Simply Moving showed up on time and executed flawlessly. We were moving my daughter from a one bedroom to a studio and most of her stuff was going into storage. The storage unit that I arranged was tight for what she had but the lead on the team was clearly the master of 3-D Tetris!

Good service, reliable and took care of my furniture when transporting.
