Simply MovingReviews of simplymovingny.com

We are very happy with the moving team. They are fast and efficient. Our stuff got moved very quickly within a day from Ossining, NY to Enfield, CT. They were careful with the furniture and the walls as well. Thank you Simply moving for the job well done.

Negatives: the movers went to the wrong location, Canal Street in Manhattan instead of Canal Place in the Bronx (even though the address was correct on the order). This delayed start time by 2 hours, and I wasn't able to get an ETA while waiting. Positives: when they showed up, the crew, and particularly the crew lead Shanell (sp.?) were efficient, careful, and courteous. The move was finished in good time and nothing appears to be damaged. I would use again, but Simply Moving should consider implementing double-checks on address as part of dispatching.

I scheduled a cross-country move from N.Y.C. to D.C., and I received a very reasonable flat rate quote, which included a stop to pick up additional items. The move itself was seamless and efficient. The movers handled all my items, from my antique to ikea furniture, with great care. And, to boot, they were highly professional. I've moved a few times in New York, and this has been my best experience!

My sister and I were really anxious about this move but the 3 guys that Simply Moving sent over were beyond amazing. Super fast and took good care of all of the stuff they were moving (and they were so friendly). Moved a 2 bedroom apartment from Financial District to LIC in less than 3 hrs (including the drive over!). I would recommend Simply Moving to everyone and anyone, they were incredible! Great pricing too!

The movers were very nice and a little early. Worked very well with my new super which won me points as a new tenant. I thank them for that. However, they really rushed through the job (I think they actually had something to do afterwards) so the whole thing felt a little frantic which is not really great while you're moving. It took me a while to trust that my stuff was going to make it through okay because it looked like things were just flying around. In the end, the important stuff all made it through so my only complaint was that the boxes weren't clearly labeled so it took me a lot of extra time to unpack because I didn't really know what was in each box. Again an extra 15 minutes to work with me to label things something more involved than "living room misc." would have done a lot. I'd recommend this to friends but in the future hope that they are able to spend just a little more time with each client so that clients can see their items being shown a little more care. Moving day is stressful enough!

On time, very efficient, yet careful at the same time. The guys were extremely professional and it was truly a 5 star job. I would recommended Simply Moving to anyone and everyone.

I had a somewhat complicated move on a tight timescale: half a week before my move, I learned that the building I was moving out only allowed move outs during the week. Simply Moving easily switched to moving me out on Friday, and then holding my stuff for the prevailing rate, and then moving in at my destination 2 days later. The admins were quick to respond and clear, the moving crews were personable and hardworking, and after unpacking, I didn't find anything damaged.

We hired Simply Moving for a 1br move. They had a 2 hour minimum policy. While the team was great- moved everything quickly and safely, were nice and friendly despite the horrible heat, it would have been much cheaper for us to just pay somebody by the hour (it took much less then 2 hours).
