I purchased a trash/recyclable trash can on November 7, 2021. It arrived several days later. I read the directions. “Wave your hand over the top of the can and it will open. It worked okay. As my husband and I were sitting at the kitchen table, the top automatically opened by itself. It did it again and again. By Thanksgiving, I pulled the plug. Contacted Capital One. They credited my account. Now I received a letter from them saying they changed me again for this product. I do not want something that does not perform the way it should. Why can’t I explain this problem to a REAL PERSON over the phone?

Horrible Customer Service. Enjoy your product while it’s new, cause replacement parts are none existent. As for the 10 year warranty….Good Luck. Called to buy a replacement part and Reps have been wasting my time for a week. They’ve requested store receipt, serial number, short video, etc. In other words don’t waste your time with customer service. It’s an ok Trash Can but not the excellent product they portray. Don’t be fooled by hefty price and 10 Year Warranty. Pretty much any problems throw it out.

I accidentally bought the wrong mirror, immediately after I tried to cancel my order (you know how most companies have like a few min. after the purchase to cancel), we’ll they don’t have that option. So i reached out to the team via email, chat, AND TEXT. NO REPLY from neither for 3 days!! When they finally got back to me they said I waited too long to cancel my order when THEY were the ones that wouldn’t answer ME!! After the 3rd day someone said they’d give me a refund… this was before Christmas… today is the 27th. Still no refund and I haven’t received the mirror yet. For being a “luxury” brand they have THE WORST customer service.

Ordered many items for my friends Christmas present. Waited four days for delivery when it finally turned up they missed out the largest item being the electric bin. Tried to get through there is never anybody on the telephone on the online chat is absolutely shocking. They blamed the delivery company rather than taking blame themselves. Offered to send me a replacement in four days giving me no time to get this to my friend for Christmas as it’s now 20 December. I’ve been using this company for many years and I will never buy another bag from them or any product ever again!!!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS AT ALL COST!!! Horrible customer service. No way to talk to someone where you have a problem. If you go through their chat and think they are taking care of you, you are wrong. I ordered a gift for my Mom, the gift was sent to the wrong address. I tried to have the gift sent to the correct address and when I contacted them through chat, which is the only way to directly communicate, they assured me they would resolve the issue, which they did not and never followed up with me. The only recommendation I have for this business is STAY AWAY AT ALL COST!!!

I purchased a compost can, it was delivered to my Neighbor down the street. They were kind enough to bring it to me although it was 2 weeks after the delivery should have came. I opened it up and found a slight dent in the stainless steel. After contacting the company to inform them that the item was delivered late, to the wrong address and had a dent in it I was surprised that they did not even bother to respond. They give you NO RESPONSES, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE grab your money and run. Only purchase if you you are ok with overpaying for an item and not hearing back from them. They don’t care about their customers!!!

Paid for item via Apple Pay online. Discovered that the shipping address was incorrect. Attempted to correct, but no edit function was available after order was placed. As per the instructions on the purchase confirmation email, responded with need to change shipping address to match billing address. Received no response. Following day, attempted to contact customer support. As with many online companies, no phone number is provided for direct human(?) contact. Instead, a text number was provided to which I explained the problem via messaging. The reply received indicated that it was not their responsibility. I initiated an intercept with the USPS and re-routed package for $15.75. Messaged Simple Human and requested a credit for the intercept cost. Company refused. Product arrived to local Post Office with additional cost of $14.35 for shipping from wrong address. Package arrived damaged. Simple Human again refused to apply credit, but offered an undisclosed discount for the next purchase.

Been waiting on warranty claim since 5/2021 it is now 10/2021…. After spending $200+ on a trash can that failed to respond or open after 3 months of use, I am 100% dissatisfied.
