Stay away - they take your money!!
THE WORST EXPERIENCE! I signed up for a free plan, however the next day they changed the price from 0 USD to 500 USD. The following day, I received a mail from SimilarWeb where they stated that they had made a mistake in the pricing and that it was possible to get a full refund and cancel the new plan. Even though I immediately cancelled my plan, asked for a refund and explicitly wrote that they were not allowed to withdraw the money from my account, they still charged me 583USD! I have been writing and calling them everyday for two weeks, but without any response. They just charged 583USD from my account without my consent and have failed to reply and pay me back. Do yourself a favor and NEVER use this unreliable company.

Very useful web traffic data provider…
Very useful web traffic data provider but it is very expensive for small businesses. I'd suggest SimilarWeb to introduce a plan under 100$/month.

Awful
I signed up for a free plan. The next day they emailed to say they made a mistake and the plan is actually $499 per month! They charged my card and took payment immediately. They did give me 7 days to cancel and said I would get a refund, however I wonder if I would have it I paid by debit and not credit card. I am appalled that such companies exist to do such sneaky stuff. STAY AWAY.

It is our policy to take a credit card payment for the chosen package 24 hours after signing up for the free trial. We try to make it clear in the process that we offer a 24 hours free trial and then we charge for the service, but we will work to make this more visible. I've been wanting to check the amount…
I've been wanting to check the amount of visitors on a website and I couldn't find an easy to use platform for it. I'm glad I tried similarweb and it helped me a lot. It made my life easier.

Hello, I'm trying to get the company's customer servants caught now in its third day. I will never get an answer but you'll get replies here and in your email: The team will be back 🕒 Tomorrow I just wanted to try the service for a trial period, but the service was already billed to me. Corona time has been a tough time for many and I wouldn’t want to spend my company’s funds on this, which even gets poor customer service.

We certainly don’t want to cause any grievances with our sign-up procedure in the current climate. It is our policy to take a credit card payment for the chosen package 24 hours after signing up for the free trial. This is mentioned on the sign-up page and we also mention the day your card will be charged on the details entry page before you continue and agree. We've tried to make this clearly visible during the sign-up process, but we will try harder to make sure customers are aware of this. I can see that a refund has now been processed for you as well. Dreadful
Dreadful. Expensive, terrible customer service and the data isn't that great, you can get better elsewhere - avoid at all costs. Update: After several weeks SimilarWebb refunded me but it took a lot of work and phonecalls back and forth with my bank.

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. I messaged them asking if one specific feature would be available with one of their packages and clearly stated I would not be interested in any other features. She wouldn't answer questions directly, always answering with more general information or redirecting you to FAQ or their brochure. She led me on, telling me that it is indeed possible, only for me to discover - after I put in all my details (including credit card) to start the trial - that of course in order to access the one feature I wanted I had to contact them for additional information, additional cost, and it had to be an annual payment 100 times (at least 12,000 USD) more expensive than the package she led me to try. Requests to speak to another person from their company were ignored.
