I applied for the 7 day free trial . But I found that I could not cancel it after 3 days . When I logged in to cancel all I got was a white screen - completely blank. I emailed their support immediately stating my decision to cancel immediately and threatening legal action if they attempted to extract money . I also cancelled my debit card associated with this account . If they demand money then I will point to the email I sent them . I don’t like businesses who operate in such an underhand way . I woukd warn anyone who is considering a free trial that there may be difficulties in canceling that free trial resulting in unwanted charges .

I hate spamming websites like SimilarWeb that pretend like they're going to show you the information and then keep asking you to add in more and more of your own information. They want your phone number, they want your email, they want your address, they want everything about you. In the end instead of showing you the information that they promised, they send you to a paid version where you have to put in your credit card before they give you any information at all. This should be made clear up front before collecting all of a customer's data. I bet there's a statute in California that these guys are violating. Someone needs to report them

They say free trial but they charge you the same day. I will go to the police today. Scammers and fraudsters.

Nach Abschluss des Basis-Abos stellte ich schnell fest, dass viele Funktionen nur sehr eingeschränkt verfügbar sind. Wer das Tool ernsthaft nutzen möchte, muss zusätzlich zum ohnehin teuren Abonnement weitere Upgrades erwerben. Selbst für Funktionen, die man aus meiner Sicht als Bestandteil des eigentlichen Tools erwarten würde. Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis konnte mich nicht überzeugen. Im direkten Vergleich boten mir Semrush und Ahrefs deutlich mehr Nutzen. Besonders kritisch finde ich die Testphase: Man muss eine Kreditkarte hinterlegen, obwohl der Funktionsumfang stark begrenzt ist. Wird nicht rechtzeitig gekündigt, werden direkt 199 USD für einen Monat berechnet. Für ein Tool, das aufgrund der zahlreichen Einschränkungen in diesem Tarif aus meiner Sicht kaum sinnvoll nutzbar ist, halte ich diesen Preis für völlig unverhältnismässig. Mein Fazit: hohe Kosten, zu viele zusätzliche Bezahlschranken und ein für mich unzureichender Gegenwert. Achtet genau auf den eingeschränkten Funktionsumfang, die erforderlichen Upgrades und die Kündigungsfrist der Testphase.

What I dont like is that this organisation has a url field on the home page where the user expectancy is for a quick result. ie. If I input a url I will get some result - or even partial result. Unfortunately it is just a clickbait trap to lure you into what is a data theft exercise before they then throw up a pay wall. Maybe it's just me, but i dont like to give up my info only to be told I then need to pay. Pay first, THEN give up the personal info. And please use some clearer signposting that the result on the clickthrough on the homepage will only be displayed once a credit card is allocated.

Nothing I found during the trial justified the price: the basic plan is heavily restricted, and the data it does show is freely available elsewhere at no cost. When the trial ended, I was automatically charged $200. I submitted a cancellation and refund request the same day. Five days later: no reply, no automated acknowledgement, nothing. So you get a paid product that adds no value over free alternatives, plus a support team that goes silent once the payment has gone through. If you're considering Similarweb, at minimum turn off auto-renewal the moment you start the trial. I'll update this review if the company responds and issues a refund.

Signed up for the "free trial". 5 minutes of use confirmed this was not suitable for a small business. Cancelled same day. They charged me 200 dollars anyway. No one has got back to me to refund. Scummy ans shady practices. I want my money back.

Beware! Unreliable panel data that just has gotten worse over the years. If you don’t cancel 30 days before on the dot and don’t want to renew, they’ll send you to collections even if they turn off services. Super unethical sales and support team.
