Many fake profiles and plenty of scammers. Even after paying they limit your searches. The worst part... The site is full of crabby, jaded old ladies. If you're looking for pretentious prima donnas and Eastern Bloc scammers then this site is for you.

Not All It’s Cracked Up To Be
At first glance, this seems like a great site for over 50 singles. However, there is NO customer service at all. My account froze up several times and locked me out for three solid days. It took every one of those three days for customer service to actually reply….two other replies were just spam boilerplate.
Silver Singles has a lot of technology problems, and it’s no better than POF or Match.com. Same faces, too.

Beware of Silver SIngles
The Silver Singles site is simply laughable in every respect. The reviews posted are obviously posted by Silver Singles to ensure they score highly. I have been on site for about two months and its a total waste of money. Searching is not possible and they simply feed you 20 members to view every 24 hours. So they just have a data base that fires off 20 prospects from all over the country every 24 hours - its a joke and the customer is the sucker. Don"t use the site and dont waste your money.

Unfortunately a scam focused on 50+…
Unfortunately a scam focused on 50+ people. Their customer service phone number leads to a bot who says she is a bank. Hard to believe! I am working with PayPal to get a refund. Fortunately rare.

I joined Silver Singles at the end of…
I joined Silver Singles at the end of last month and paid in full for a 6 month membership with my credit card. When i got my credit card statement it had a charge for a Sparks network which i has never heard of so I disputed the charges. When I realized that it was actually the charge for Silver Singles I immediately contacted them to straighten out my error and pay them in full again. I have never refused to pay them, but they couldn’t take the payment over the phone, nor have they been able to provide a correct working link to a payment screen. It seems their time would be better spent training their people on how to be able to actually help a customer with the technical aspects of the accounts and how to maneuver the websites, and know how to discern when the problem is on the Siver Singles end. Most of all teach them how to FIX the issues and take the payment and apply it to their customers accounts like i have attempted on several occasions now. They are now threatening to take legal action if I don’t pay, which as I have stated, I tried to! This has went on for 2 weeks now and going on 3. Since they locked my account, I started an account with a different dating site, and have met several great ladies. At this point I wouldn’t even give Silver Singles a rating of 1 star,

Would not Recommend - Ever
Lot of ‘likes’ mostly interstate - not helpful. ‘Is in love at first sight’ shows you pics once a day - again, mostly interstate what is the point ? Would not recommend this site at all. Waste of money. So many men do not display their photo - obviously catfishers. .

I'm interested in older women
I'm interested in older women, and thought Silver Singles was a place where I could search for profiles, or would use a swipe-system like most other dating apps. This model of dating website works because statistically, a man will need to swipe roughly 1,000 times before he gets 1 match. That's the simple reality of what it means to do online dating if you're a man. You know you'll need to send out lots of messages before anyone replies.
So I came on Silver Singles, having paid the full price for 3 months, and saw only 9 matches. I thought maybe those are just recommended profiles... I started clicking around looking for the search bar where I could see 500 more profiles and get to messaging. Again, I purchased 3 months, so if I start sending out messages now, I can expect to get maybe 4 or 5 replies before my membership expires. I touched every button I could find, and there doesn't appear to be a search bar. What gives?
So I clicked on "help", thinking I'm just missing the option that lets me access the thousands of profiles I very clearly and obviously need, because honestly, it's just a fact of life that men will not get matches better than 500 messages for 1 response, and even the most casual online dater knows this. That's when I saw the help page, quote:
"You cannot search our website for members; we do the work and recommend compatible matches for you"
..... are... you... serious?
I mean... okay, this idea MIGHT work, if your website matched me to, say, 10,000 other people I could browse through. But you matched me to literally NINE PEOPLE AND THAT'S IT!! And I changed my settings to allow for literally anyone over the age of 50. And all I'm matched to is just the nine? So I paid 50 dollars for 3 months and this is all I get. I can message all of them in ten minutes. Then what? I sit and wait for the next 89 days and hope that one replies?
Go on literally any other website where you can actually swipe or browse. With SilverSingles, you're left at the complete mercy of their algorithm. Imagine if it only matched you with 3 people after you went and paid the full premium price for membership.

I suspected the service wasn’t for me…
I suspected the service wasn’t for me and tried to cancel, unsubscribe, etc., and found myself in a useless loop of “customer help” that didn’t lead me to any useful outcome. I am embarrassed, because I know that seniors are vulnerable! I just didn’t realize how cynical and insidious these sites had become.
