This is innovation.
This is innovation. I can say now with certainty that this is the best thing to happen in healthcare. Not only is it innovative, but it's bringing much-needed transparency to a broken system. Sidecar Health cares about it's members.

Great option for people not expecting…
Great option for people not expecting alot to happen. But it has become an issue on getting things paid for and uploading receipt after receipt going back in fourth with healthcare providers not giving out proper documentation.

Hi JG. Thanks for your feedback. Our product works a little differently, but we find the majority of our customers actually prefer it because they know upfront what their costs will be (goodbye surprise bills!). We have found that these steps make the process easier: First, let the medical office know you need an itemized bill upfront. Healthcare providers are required to give you this information (the regulations are called “HIPAA”) so don’t be afraid to ask for it. Second, make sure to get this detail during the visit. And third, upload it to our site promptly and we will check it to let you know if anything is missing. If you continue to have issues, remember that our Member Care team (yes, a real live person!) is on standby via live chat or phone.

One of my clients had thyroid surgery
One of my clients had thyroid surgery, the doctor charged $6500 for the procedure, sidecar health covered $8400 for this particular procedure, she ended up getting a check for $2400 even after the procedure was paid in full!

Since our daughter turned 26 she needed to find an affordable health plan. Sidecar Health is a much more affordable option than Cobra.
