My 95 year old Mom is home because of Shower Bay.
My mother has dementia and recently she forgot how to walk or stand on her own. Washing her had become a nightmare with the fear of her falling in the shower or off of the shower chair. We had no idea what we were going to do. I decide to look at the options that were available on the internet for handicap showers. What a disappointment.! The showers that were coming were for major rentiovation to bathrooms currently in a home and were very expensive. Others looked like showers for camping. It was very frustrating and disheartening. We always said that we would keep Mom at home, but not being able to keep her clean was a major problem. Sponge baths can only go so far. It looked like we were going to have to do something we never wanted to do, put her in a facility. Sadly, we made appoints to see various facilities. The day before going to see the first facility, I gave the internet one last try. “Shower Bay” came up. I was so excited. Finally, a product that addressed all my issues. I called the company and spoke with Russell. He was very informative and answered all my questions. I order the “Shower Bay” right then and there. Received it in one week later. It took my husband and I three hours to put it together. My husband could not believe how well built it was and how detailed the instructions were written. The produce has been well thought out. This produce saved my mother’s life. She is home. She is happy. Home care aides are happy. And we, her family, could not be happier. Thank you “Shower Bay”.
