Excellent Value and Customer Experience
Shopper Approved collects reviews from clients of two web-based writing businesses I operate. I’ve used Shopper Approved for three years on one of the sites and two years on the other. Business doubled+ on both sites after adding the Shopper Approved widget but my satisfaction with the company is broader and goes deeper than that. First, I’m a small businessperson so costs matter a lot. I find Shopper Approved to be a good value and money well spent. Second, getting clients to leave reviews is challenging for any company, even among the happiest and most satisfied clients. People get busy. They have families, jobs and lives. They procrastinate. So any review process has to be super quick, easy and convenient for people. The Shopper Approved process is very straightforward and doesn’t require any registration or other B.S. for my clients to leave reviews (unlike this Trustpilot site, by the way). In fact, I tell clients it will take only about 90 seconds, which is true, although once they are at the Shopper Approved site they often spend longer leaving me very long and detailed reviews. The bottom line is that less friction means more and better reviews. Third, because I operate highly specialized service businesses, I only have a few clients a month, which is undoubtedly well below the volume of most Shopper Approved clients, such as retailers, etc. So in other words, I’m sure that by the numbers I’m considered “small potatoes” to Shopper Approved. But having worked with BayLee and their technical team over the years on a number of tweaks and other customizations I wanted, I can report I have always been given the time and attention afforded a much larger company to accommodate my needs. In fact, one of my requests was so unique that the tech team had to come up with a completely unique solution. It took a couple of weeks and BayLee stayed in contact with updates throughout the process and saw it through to conclusion. So my experience is that a “customer is a customer” to Shopper Approved and everyone is treated with the same level of respect and attention. And if you’re a small businessperson like me, you know there is nothing better in the world than that.
