Was a customer for 1 in half years with over 3500 in purchases and they suspend my account saying i have multiple accounts for i only have 1 account and login with 2 different devices. They have voilated thier own terms of service.And they wont refund or shipout any purchases made during the suspension. So im going to civil court and take them for alot.

Goodwill DOES NOT "help people improve their lives" as their rhetoric & web site declare. Prices for used items are outrageous, you can't try anything on, and God help you if you try to return anything. They only give store-credit (if you're lucky...many items are suddenly not returnable when you try), and you cannot shop/return to any of their numerous branded stores...only where you purchased the items. Absolutely AWFUL. They are taking advantage of the public. Don't ruin your day by trying to deal with this horrific business.

I've been a ShopGoodwill customer for about 6 years now. For a while my experiences went as expected but not so much as of late. First off, the shipping fees and the use of FedEx is a major problem. If an item looks to be a great price and has hardly any bids, you can almost be certain it has ridiculously high shipping fees. Secondly, the website hardly functions correctly anymore. I've had the winning bid on a couple of auctions only to later be told that the site was showing me incorrectly as the high bidder. I'm not sure if this is just because they refuse to sell the item to me at a price lower than they wanted or if the site is actually malfunctioning. I've also won items only to be told that they were no longer in stock and had to wait over a week to get a response back or a refund. Most recently I bought a laptop that was described as having a 256 GB SSD drive and the pictures provided showed it in good shape. When it arrived, it had paint torn off the back cover and the hard drive installed was not even half the size listed. I tried to contact that particular Goodwill with no response. So they somehow damaged the item before shipping it out and lied about the specs via the product description. I'm not sure if the pandemic caused this place to go downhill or what. I hope that the people who run this site will see these reviews and try to improve. However, after flat out being ignored and being lied to, I'm done with their shady practices. eBay isn't great, but it's a heck of a lot better in comparison!

It's great if you like to pay super top dollar, like many times double the retail price for used donated items then this place is for you. But not only that, the shipping charges will be the icing on the cake for you as you smile and shell out far more than what the shipping would cost and then you also get the added benefit of buying from an organization that calls its self a charity that gives jobs to the less fortunate in our society but what they are actually doing is taking advantage of the disabled, and you of course. I try and rip these #*%#ers off every chance i get. And yea i donate all my garbage to them. These greedy crooks need to be shut down, don't let them fool you they love ripping everyone off all the time. $@#* YOU GREEDWILL!

Their shipping charges are outrageous. $11 to ship a 5-ounce package? I saw the shipping fees prior to bidding there were ZERO handling fees, but I also saw that they would use FEDEX to ship the item. Since, I really wanted the bracelet I placed my bid anyway. When the item was shipped, I saw that they used USPS FIRST CLASS shipping coming from PA to NY and it was shipped in a used padded envelop! Of course, I emailed them and got no response. I have no idea what kind of charity organization goodwill is as I have never seen or heard about them giving anything away free of charge. People donate and they sell the items at high cost plus extra high shipping. Just make sure whatever you get from that site is something you really want and check the shipping charges prior to bidding.

I bought a laptop, with reinstalled OS and listed as in "very good" condition in Phoenix area. As soon as I lifted the lid, I saw the buttery was bulging through the keyboard. I emailed them, but they did not want to take any responsibility for the false posting or for shipping item that poses fire hazard. I bought a "new, still in packaging" fitness watch. When I opened, it, it was a different, older model - not what pictured. I bought roller skates in "Very good" condition. The rear wheels were rusted to the shoe portion. False advertisement - wasted hundreds of dollars. I will never buy from them again.

The auction bidding is Manipulated, and you are cheated out of the item. I have had items that I won the auction, but was not shipped out the item was removed. This auction site is being manipulated, and is very unfair.
