1 star because it takes a week to ship after you've paid it full. I have 4 completed auction items that ended 5 days ago. Not a single one shipped. If they dont ship tomorrow, Ill take the matter up with my credit card company and stop payment on all of them.

How is this shopgoodwill.com still operating? It’s incredibly dishonest and deceptive. Photos are taken to hide damage and stains that are not noted anywhere in the description. A total scam.

Items often missing key details such as measurements, even when size is not available. Items are typically photographed horribly, rarely show a size comparison when one is needed. Ranier in particular puts a $49.95 minimum bid on every item, even tiny old stud earrings that can be purchased brand new for $35. Shipping & handling are very often 2, 3 or even 4X the cost of the actual item. They take days to answer questions about items. And now the site has ad banners that pop up covering the submit bid button when you are attempting to place bids in the final seconds of an auction which is the only way to win these auctions. You have to physically click to close the ad before you can submit your bid. They also have these banners popping up over photos blocking the photos so you have to interact with the ad (close it) to view the photo. And at this point everyone knows about this site and items are selling for far more than you can buy them on PoshMark, Ebay, Etsy, etc.

Just asking for a picture of a tag on the pants to see what they actually are. They won't get back to you at all. Worst part is I worked for a goodwill for decades and some dont care about mission and only care about making a dollar.

Goodwill of Southwest Florida – Do Not order shipping from them as they put in a bunch of items that survived a century together to rumble around with a gigantic metal paperweight that dinged and broke several things. I requested a full refund including shipping costs and handling. They did not want to make it right. Therefore I will blacklist this location from buying anything from there ever again. Very disappointed as a multi decade shopper there.

This is for the Goodwill location in Southern Nevada. I’ve purchased multiple times from various goodwill auction sites and they’ve all come to my current address in CA. But for some reason Goodwill of Southern Nevada found my address from 10 years ago and used that to send my package!! How they even have that is a mystery since I had updated my address years ago. When I saw the photo I recognized my MA address from 10 years ago!! Yet a package I received 2 weeks prior to this and also a week after this came to my correct address, those were from different Goodwill locations. I immediately contacted Southern Nevada and they said that’s the address we have so tough luck. I then emailed a higher up who opened a ticket and two days ago I finally got a response. “Sorry have a nice day”. All I was asking for is to have FedEx pick up the package and get it to me. They’ve been no help and their customer service is non existent. This was a purse I bought for my mother’s 100 birthday She loves the color yellow and how often do you see a yellow purse. It was meant to be I thought until Southern Goodwill screwed up and could care less. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM!! I have initiated a chargeback but iI’d really like the purse. And unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be many honest people left in the world. I I checked with FedEx praying whoever lives there had contacted them and were returning it to FedEx but no such luck. Again their customer service is nonexistent and if you need help forget it AVOID ANY PURCHASES FROM GOODWILL OF SOUTHERN NEVADA

Read several reviews on goodwill online and 99.9% are accurate!! Extremely high shipping and handling fees. Their money train must be losing steam bc the starting auction prices are higher than the product value and many items go unsold. Too bad they got greedy. I hope buyer and resellers spend their money elsewhere!

Why is goodwill so expensive now it’s crazy I’d rather going to new department stores n buy new which at 65 percent of time it’s cheaper then goodwill. Idc what anyone else says it’s true seriously they are given the stuff n then turn around n sell it for what it cost at 20percent off of what it cost new it’s crazy then if it dont fit cause u cant try it on there 9 times out of 10 you dont take it back to much hassle. Its not because they pay there workers good money cuz they dont but the CEO gets a BIG CHUNK of profits n there so called sister country they deliver ya right not happening like they say they give them there torn tattered n clothes that has been pushed around to different goodwills n maybe a once a year that country will receive something but not what we think its truly sad that the CEO is the true moneymaker here
