These people are horrible. I have called them 4 times to get a contract sent to have items shipped. They told me they would do it within 3 hours. That was on Saturday when I called two times and was on hold for a total of approximately 2 hours. I never got a contract sent to me. So I gave them one more chance I called on Monday Aug 31 @ 9:30 AM the rep told me she would send it out in a couple of hours it is now 5:57 PM and I haven't received anything from them. I called Mini Moves and they provide me with a contract and estimate within 20 minutes of my completed call. Needless to say I won't be dealing with these people any time soon.

Items were picked up in CA on Nov 4th to be shipped to TX. I was told it would be held in a warehouse for about a week and shipped out promptly with delivery within 1-3 weeks. Three weeks later and they are now calling claiming the shipment weighs over 4,000lbs for moving contents of 1 room. Original quote was $2249 and was given in good faith with specific descriptions of all items and insurance purchased. They are now demanding $5275 and items still have not shipped.

This is the most disappointing service I've ever used. I had furniture and boxes shipped from Hayward California to the Pittsburgh Pennsylvania area. The quote $1,700- I was given was extremely under weight and I added boxes from my storage. I got a call and they said my painting required a custom crate for an additional $600 that I approved. After they put t the packed boxes on the pallet to ship, Ship Smart gave me a final bill for $4,700. + An additional fee of $600 for inside delivery. I was told after I paid on May 22nd , I was told it would take 10 days and it would be there before I flow in on June 7th. June 7th came and went. After several email and telephone calls, all I got was "I'm sorry and were checking". I was told the truck arrived in Pittsburgh on the 12th, still no delivery. I was contacted on the 17th of June and was told my delivery would be dropped at a delivery company for inside delivery on the 18th. I just called that company and was told they don't have my furniture yet and would take about a week to deliver. Unfortunately I have to return back to San Francisco and still don't where my delivery is? So far I've paid $5,300 for a bedroom set - without matress and box springs- a painting and already packed boxes. This does not include the the round trip flight airfare and this company won't even supply me with a supervisor. It's almost one month for a ten day journey?? The only good thing about this company is the amazing advertising they use to lure you into there service. I don't even think NASA uses them because they would only use them once like me. This is a horrible service that I wouldn't recommend to anyone. Reference P9115-67

Coordinated to pack & ship 23 framed art prints for delivery on a specific date. Despite the art being picked up almost a month in advance the shipper dismally missed the requested date,

Very flustered can’t get an honest answer when to expect my shipment. I’ve been given 3 different dates to expect my shipment. Today I called and spoke with Tish . She gave me information “it should arrive in two hours”. I left work to get home to receive it. Never came!!

Ship Smart will give you a quote that is competitive then after they pick up your items you will get a call telling you that your cost will be 50% more than the quote. You will have to pay the increase or they will charge you for packaging materials and labor and for the cost to deliver your items back to you. So you have not choice but to pay them. After this happened to me I did some more looking online and found this has happened to many of their customers. This is dishonest and a bad business practice. Do not do business with this disreputable company.

I would give zero stars if possible. I'm in the process of reporting this company to the Better Busses Bureau for deceptive practices. They are a HORRIBLE company. They do not deserve a dime of your money. They will tell you one thing and then try to extort further money out of you. They will not adhere to an agreed upon delivery schedule. You’ll be lucky if you get your things a month after the date they give you and when you do get your things they will most likely be damaged. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. Watch out for Mike especially, he is the most dishonest sales rep I have ever dealt with.
