Ship Smart did a great job packing. The company they actually used to ship the furniture damaged a chair and tried to hide that fact.

Pickup great, but at delivery 1) all packing material not removed 2) found piece that turns on the floor lamp on floor, so broken and needs to be replaced 3) desk lamp shade delivered with black marks and creases ; also needs replacement & 4) piece of enamel design on expensive floor mirror broken off . ...upsetting as didn't expect to have to repair/replace items as told 98% no breakage record so didn't get insurance. Not sure if caused by way packed at pickup or a little carelessness when delivered. I would appreciate a prompt response with your thoughts about what occurred and since you seem very interested in providing good customer service, anything you can do to make us feel better about the damaged pieces would also be very much appreciated.

In my case, the estimated cost was 50% below actually. However, it was oversized and heavy furniture. I am satisfied with the service from Ship Smart and would consider them next time. The goods arrived as scheduled and in good shape -- no damage.

I needed to ship a piece of furtniture my mother left me when she died. It wasn't brand new so I was worried about it making it the journey in one piece. Shipsmart was always nice and willing to answer my questions even when I was just inquiring. Shipsmart had to send my furniture to another company that ships across the pacific. My only gripe is they didn't put my name on the box so the pacific company didn't know who's it was for. If I wasn't on top of it my package could of been lost. i wish it was less money but they were the only company that would ship my one light weight item. Most shipping companies have rules where the pallet has to be at least 2000lbs. I wish they had a tracking system you could see as well. Well all in all I'm happy with my experience and I would recommend them.

I had a very small move, with just a few pieces of very heavy furniture, and the guys moved it upstairs with no troubles.

Very professional. I used same employee for the majority of my transaction. He did a good job. I only wish they would give you the 10 percent mark off at the END of the transaction, prior to the actual shipping. Also, clients should be offered the right to view the actual final weighing, even if you have to journey to Ship Smarts San Francisco shipping facility. Overall, my experience was ok.

Had a good experience from the initial phone contact to the final receiving of the shipment. Most affordable way to get things up to Alaska. Items arrived well wrapped and in good shape.

We needed to ship a few items of furniture and several boxes of stuff from my mother's condo after she died recently. I checked around on the internet and found Ship Smart, which seemed to be exactly what I needed. Given the constraints of the job, having to combine several small lots into a full load, I was prepared to wait a while. The items were collected quickly and stored in a Houston warehouse to be aggregated. We were notified when the shipment was on the way, and when it arrived in San Francisco. Delivery was exactly when we had arranged it. Several items required two men to carry up to the second floor, the main floor of our house. No problem for the workers who showed up. I was quite pleased with the service, given the difficulties involved.
