Scheduling, pick-up, and drop-off worked as planned, but trunks get too beat up in shipping. It would be much better if Ship Camps would provide boxes. We had to replace my child's first trunk after one year and the second trunk only lasted two years of using Ship Camps. Camps do not have space to store boxes for the summer. I highly recommend figuring out a box solution if you are going to use ShipCamps or else plan on buying a new $200 trunk every 1 to 2 summers. EDIT: ShipCamps made the process of filing the insurance claim easy, and they approved the claim promptly, so from a financial standpoint, I'm happy. However, I'm still not happy with having to put a large trunk into the city landfill every two years, which is what we've done since our camp started using ShipCamps. The prior shipping company provided boxes.

Ms. Cleveland, Good morning, and thank you for sharing your recent Ship Camps experience. We're glad your camper's trunks arrived ahead of schedule on both the outbound and return legs of your round-trip shipment. That said, we're sorry to hear the trunk arrived damaged on the return leg. Receiving a trunk in that condition is by no means typical, but we're here to help when it does happen. All shipments come with complimentary insurance, with the option to insure up to $7,500, so while unfortunate, trunk damage is covered under our insurance policy. We can see our team was in communication with you yesterday, and provided a link to our online claims form. Once the claim is submitted, our Claims Team will review the submission promptly for approval and reimbursement. We apologize for any inconvenience or frustration this caused, and we look forward to resolving this to your satisfaction. If you have any questions regarding the claims form, or need help submitting your claim, just let us know. We're here to help. Thank you in advance for your time, and we look forward to resolving this matter.

Camp trunks were picked up on schedule and delivered quickly after camp ended.

We were notified that our duffels would be returned home on the 17th. One duffel was dropped off on the 14th and the other three were dropped off on the 15th. We were out of town and the forecast was for rain. We had to ask neighbors to assist in getting our bags in the garage. Receiving in correct dates was not helpful and caused some stress.

Ms. Dahmann, Good morning, and thank you for taking the time to share your recent Ship Camps experience. We're pleased your shipments arrived ahead of schedule on both legs of your round trip, but we sincerely apologize that the return early delivery caused some complications in this instance. Looking into the details, we don't see any outreach from you regarding the complications this caused. We do send proactive emails and text messages when a shipment is Out For Delivery and once it has Delivered. Had our team been made aware of the issue at the time, we could have looked into options to recollect the bag and redeliver it on a date better suited to your timeline, using a third party courier at no additional cost. For future reference, all Ship Camps shipments are scheduled with a "Deliver By" date and do not require a signature upon delivery. This means shipments are guaranteed to arrive on or before the selected date, and may occasionally arrive early. Delivery without a signature is ultimately at the driver's discretion, based on whether the location is deemed a safe area that isn't high traffic. In situations where early delivery may not be ideal, we recommend considering one of the following options: - Shipping to a local FedEx store, where most locations will hold shipments for pickup up to five business days (a small holding fee may apply, so it's best to confirm in advance). - Shipping to a friend, neighbor, family member, business, or property manager, ensuring someone is available to receive the shipment on your behalf. We apologize if these details weren't clearly communicated during booking. If you'd like to discuss your experience further, please don't hesitate to reach out by phone or text at 855-540-2267, or via email at [email protected]. We appreciate your feedback and are here to help however we can. Thank you for choosing Ship Camps.
