I analyze things to death because I'm a scientist. So not surprising I took a long period of time deciding on how to transport a car from Nevada to Colorado. I mean, really, if you read the negative comments, it's a wonder that anyone ships a car!!!. Eventually I just trusted the overall ratings on this review site and chose Ship a Car Direct based on ratings and cost. The quote given to me $675.00 ($225 brokers fee and $450 cash transport fee) was what I paid - no other hidden fees. Watch out for those fees. After reading the fine print on the other carrier I was considering I noticed a $30.00 fee for paying the broker fee by credit card! No deposits were charged, and the broker's fee was not collected until a transporter had been secured. Jason - my contact by email - was punctual in responding to my email enquiries, and Exile Transport (Vincent) was excellent - in spite of its name! Exile is out of Kansas City, and was very flexible on determining a pickup time. Vincent called me a few hours before delivery to determine a drop-off time. We had a good experience transporting our car (Toyota Corolla) by Ship-a-Car-Direct from Los Angeles, CA to Houston, TX. We had given them 3-day window (Tue-Thu) to pick the car. They were able to assign a carrier (DY Trucking) and pick the car the very next day (Tue). That was a welcome experience. The truck driver (Donald) let us put household items in the trunk, which saved us additional shipping costs. It's usually not recommended to put stuff in the shipped vehicle, due to theft, but since in our case there was none, we wouldn't mind doing it again, if have to ship a car again. :) We reached in Houston by air on Saturday, and next morning 9am, Donald delivered us our car. So, we didn't have to spend any money on car rental, which was excellent. All in all, we are happy with the service, and would recommend them.

Great coordination by David who found a transporter for me. Transporter was friendly and courteous. Communication is important in transporting goods and Ship A Car Direct did a great job of let me know the status of my shipment throughout the process. I highly recommend.

Service was very good, I started with one quote and they couldn't find a transport, then we increased the price and adjusted my delivery so I didn't have to spend money on a rental, and got a transport. The car got to Austin in time and with no problems.

I shipped my 2012 Camry from San Francisco to Boston on my fingertips. My friend googled Ship A Car Direct for me. I just use the chatting icon on the website gathering information. No bothering cold call and follow up advertisements. I have the rough quote $1,195 and eventually paid for $1,225 including tax and insurance. Remember, Ship A Car Direct is an agent, he agent fee also included. Now, it is the surprise that I give my own comment on my will on two website which could get $30 rebate. I make the initial quote exactly match my final expense! What I have done were chatting to get the quote, co-ordinate via email, giving the pick-up date range, paying via credit card, driving my car to the corner of my home, picking it up at the entrance of my new Condos. The shipping time only used 7 days.

The car was picked up on time, shipped across the US in 11 days, and arrived in great condition on an open trailer. Stellar!

I had a great experience with Ship A Car Direct. I had my car shipped from Orange County, CA to Miami, FL. They picked up at my house and delivered at my new destination in Miami. Kay from ship a car direct worked with me the entire time. She is accessible through email and phone but easier with emails. They found me a carrier with Royal Auto Carrier, and together they delivered my car on time as promised. They would email me to remind me of my pick up date and to take pictures. She emailed me again to ensure my car was delivered as well. Overall, great auto carrier and I would definitely use again for my move back to CA.
