Item Damaged due to extremely poor packing. They referred me to some awful insurance coverage. I don't need their insurance company. Shine on made a terrible mistake in how the shipped. They are responsible and I can't get any help. Pretty sure I would never order from them again. Most companies will work with you when THEY make a mistake. Not this one...they want to pass the buck to someone else. Will be calling my credit card company

Hey Cindy, Customers are covered by Route package protection, who offer hassle-free replacements or refunds if your item is lost, stolen, or damaged in transit. We refer customers who experienced this issue to Route to make their claim, and Route aim to resolve each claim within 24 hours.

Sellers Read This!
Just a word of warning to be very careful when using the "ShineOn Profits on Demand" app for shopify as a seller.
Firstly, the shipping times they promise are way off in reality. This is because to maximise their own profits they use e-packet through "UPS Innovations Economy", one of the cheapest shipping options for US to international. This relies on shipping items on passenger flights, which as everyone knows for the past almost-year have reduced dramatically around the world. Less flights = your package (or customer's orders) will be heavily delayed waiting around for space on far fewer flights.
Secondly, and this point is especially for sellers using Shopify - YOU (and not them) are the only ones who will be punished in the form of losses from refunds when customers are not happy waiting a month or more for the item that ShineOn told you and the customer would take 5-15 days. They integrate with Route (a shipping insurance company) - unfortunately, despite ShineOn trying to tell sellers this will benefit them, it ultimately only benefits ShineOn. Why? Because when a customer requests a refund the money is taken straight from your account (even though it is due to ShineOn's slow fulfillment and shipping). You cannot file a claim with Route for the money to be reimbursed via the insurance because, guess what, you do not actually have a relationship with Route, only ShineOn does.
Do you get it now? 1. You pay good money advertising and marketing their products (you may or may not sell any so here the risk is entirely on you). ShineOn don't pay for this, but get paid when your marketing pays off and they fulfill the order. 2. When a customer gets a refund via Route (usually due to ShineOn's slow and cheap choice of shipping to maximize their profits) - guess what.....you lose and ShineOn has no risk and can even claim the money back if it is insured by Route. You can only lose in this situation. Shine On can only win.
In summary - They minimise their own risk by getting others to pay for their marketing and getting others to pay for their refunds. Please be careful when using their shopify app.
EDIT: it's incredible how quickly ShineOn replies on here to defend themselves (within 15 minutes) but their customer service ignores most emails from customers (as you can see from the reviews below). ShineOn do you just ignore customers until they are so enraged they come here to leave a bad review and then try to ge the bad reviews taken down, if that fails it's time to defend yourselves and blame others?

Thank you for sharing your experience. We appreciate your concerns regarding risk for sellers on our service. Route provide a very useful service to any online store, by providing insurance for customers for when things go wrong in shipping and delivery. Our relationship with Route only extends to us promoting it to sellers as we also use it on our website and it helps us reduce resolution time and losses for our customers.
It's actually possible for sellers to file a claim to Route on behalf of a customer via their Dashboard. You can also contact Route to ask for consideration of any chargeback/dispute you lost which involved a lost or damaged item in transit.
With regards to international shipping, 2020 has proved a very challenging year. Mail between countries is subject to long detours and routing, and delays in customs. We choose a service equivalent to USPS First Class Intl, provided by UPS. This is a service used by many ecommerce companies to send items worldwide. All first class intl mail travels in spare passenger cargo space, this isn't something unique to UPS.
We also do not profit from the shipping costs we bill sellers, and have kept our charges the same despite at least 2 increases from carriers. Our choice of carrier is guided by a range of factors, from reliability, cost, and arrangements for pickup from our facilities. We constantly review these.
Overall, customer satisfaction with our products and service is high compared to other POD companies. If sellers want to shield themselves from some of the risks that come from operating their own store, we offer ShineOn Platform where we handle the customer service and all disputes.

Jewelry is cheap and garbage
Jewelry is cheap and garbage. The necklace caused my neck to get a rash and the chain keeps getting caught in my hair. Don’t buy. Very disappointed in my fiancé for purchasing this for me.

Not Impressed
I ordered on Dec 19 & received the order today. While the necklace is pretty and is what I ordered, the script that came with it is incorrect. I specifically ordered because of the script. Not only is the script wrong, it says "Love, Dad"...I'm MOM. I will have to print out the script and add it in myself.

Never again
This was awful ordered the wife a Christmas week a week and a half ago and still has yet to be shipped out for delivery and Christmas is next week! Awful customer service.
Response from ShineOn: Print On DemandDec 18, 2020
I'm very sorry about this. The item was shipped on December 11th and USPS are reporting the item is delayed in transit due to the busy holiday season. It's still moving and should still arrive before Christmas. We've definitely shipped it though and I've resent your tracking confirmation.
