Great software, hit or miss updates, worsening support
ServiceTitan is a good piece of software, offers a lot of the things we are looking for, features that other softwares don't offer. I like the dispatching, reporting, recorded phone calls, call taking screens. I think the chat line/customer help sections of the company could use a lot of work. Often times I get on there with a problem and tell them a problem I'm having, put job #s in the original question, and fixes I've tried. The first thing they will do is ask the job #, ask me to try those things again, and it can take 20 minutes of waiting next to a computer to get to this point. Then if you take your eyes off the screen for 60 seconds they time you out when you have been waiting way longer to even get a response. The expected patience from us versus the reciprocal patience is not very good. I would understand the short timeout feature more if it wasn't so one sided. I also think feature releases should get pushed back more and tested more thoroughly - we tend to have a lot of bugs, even ones seemingly unrelated to the releases, shortly following any updates. I understand there will always be a certain numbers of unknowns that pop up, but it seems pretty consistent and with the way that updates get pushed back months sometimes, it seems like someone is trying to be pushy about when things come out. This software is already ahead of the curve, so I'd rather see things slow down and make sure they are right in the first place, put a release date way out, and make sure it is good to go for then.
