It took more than 2 weeks to review my claim and then it was denied. They said "dirt from outside" wasn't listed on their list of valid claims. Give me a break. This company is worthless. And then they send me a link to review their service and it's not secure. Clearly they are not interested in customer service or satisfaction.

Terrible company. Lazy boy couch just started peeling on just one foot rest. Took part into Lazy Boy and they said this should not happen and said to file a claim and gave me Servco contact. Call and just get claim number. Step 2 automated email with link to send pictures. No area for description. Automatic reply claim denied normal wear. Funny because it happened in the one nobody used but couldn’t explain that because you just take pictures and they say nope. My advice is when buying products ask who they use for warranties. If they Servco I don’t care how reputable the place is walk out immediately and go purchase somewhere else.

My experience with ServeCo's claims process has been extremely disappointing and, in my opinion, unprofessional. I submitted a claim involving two accidental incidents covered under my furniture protection plan: an accidental nail polish spill and puncture damage to a sofa cushion that occurred during a single play session involving my child. What frustrated me most was not simply that my claim was denied—it was how the claim was handled. Throughout the review process, I received multiple different explanations for the denial. The claim was initially questioned based on accumulation-related concerns. Later communications referred to corrosive liquid damage, pet damage (which ServeCo later admitted was incorrect), damage allegedly inconsistent with toy-related damage, and finally misuse/improper use. After months of emails, phone calls, escalations, a supervisory review, a leadership review, a BBB complaint, a complaint to Alberta Consumer Investigations Unit, and even a formal pre-litigation demand letter, I still never received a clear contractual explanation addressing the key issue I repeatedly raised. The Protection Plan expressly lists punctures as a covered type of accidental damage. However, when I asked ServeCo to identify the specific wording explaining why my reported puncture damage was excluded as "misuse," no explanation based on the contract was provided. Instead, I simply received the response: "We will not be moving further with services." I consistently explained that the puncture damage occurred during one accidental play session involving my child and his friend. Despite this, ServeCo continued to characterize the damage as something that "could not reasonably have occurred unnoticed" or implied that it reflected misuse, without explaining how that conclusion was reached under the wording of the Protection Plan. I also found the claims process to be one-sided. As the customer, I was repeatedly asked to provide explanations, photographs, and additional information. However, when I requested detailed explanations supporting ServeCo's interpretation of the contract, those questions remained unanswered. Do not go with this Company for your furniture insurance. I don't know why such big retailers work with Serveco for furniture insurance.

Just as other experiences, mine was not any better. Poor choice of selection for a couch in terms of quality right from the beginning. Will not shop with them anymore and learned my lesson. Incidental stains from hot glue are not covered incidental rips are still not covered. They will find a reason to reject a claim!

Not worth the money. Saleperson through Laz-Boy specified that some pet damage (like accidents) would be covered though warranty, come to find out that pet damage is excluded.

Don't bother buying the extended warranty. It is a waste of money. They will definitely find a way to deny the claim. Save your money and keep it to buy another recliner when this one breaks.

I had the VIP warranty and the back of my couch broke and you can see the wood that is broken hanging down. I was honest and explained my 5 year old grandson climbed over the back and the couch broke and they explained it would not be covered but if someone pee or got sick on it that would be covered. So if you put a claim in make sure to lie and just explain it broke because someone sat on it and it broke. If your honest they deny all other claims even with VIP warranty. Its a fraud.
