Wow. A lot of information was relevant to my family history and accurately identifying known variants plus more!

Early Days, WGS results are really not unique, useful or actionable. Maybe in time, but the private equity backers are forcing the sale of reports that say nothing then repackaging the same reports for health providers for an additional fee ... what's next, the same thing? 1. WGS complete! [good] 2. Applicability for 99.9% of us, [not actionable]. They also forced me to enter my credit card when registering the kit (which I already paid for) with no way to remove it without calling or emailing their customer support [they did remove after contacting them]. That is circa 2000 Internet sales techniques and at this point predatory. There is no value in this offering at this point beyond getting the WGS completed and taking the data elsewhere (for me). Marketing is way ahead of the science and actionability here.

Very impressed. Sequencing provided excellent communication from the start, and all along the way. Regular status updates were given: in transit, received, various processing stages, complete. Access is simple and customer service is also outstanding-- a functional & responsive AI that routes to real people without issue. I was actually really surprised, with all the fraud and misrepresentation in WGS, I did not expect this, after having to charge back to another company only weeks before. Sequencing got it right, and its been a pleasure.

So far it's been a very good experience. I understand genetics aren't necessarily a straight forward thing. I know I have some of the "may have" and "possibly detected" diseases. I think it's cool and scary to look at what you may experience later in life. Maybe document potential diseases and then your doctor may pointed in the right direction in future. I have been suspected of having a very rare genetic mutation of HSD3B2 causing Non Classical CAH type 2. I was able to struggle to learn the gene explorer and manually find multiple mutations on HSD3B2, HSD3B1, and HSD17B3. Which is basically unheard of. Looking to take this data and maybe the raw genetic data back to Ohio State University Hospital to get a better understanding of my CAH. I paid top dollar for rapid processing and was pleasantly surprised they met the deadline within reason.

Tyona was what made my experience great. She was kind, understanding, and filled with knowledge. I appreciated her and her insights so much. She gave me the correct information to take to my doctor. Tyona is a real asset to your company so make sure you all hang onto her!
