Great overall experience using Sequencing.com. I encourage everyone to do the free genetic coaching. Small heads up: The Sequencing.com platform's marketplace offers some additional analysis through third parties. However, if you are persistent in digging a bit around on the internet, you can get most of this stuff done using free open-source software.

After seeing the good reviews this company had, I went straight to the site to get the free account they promote, and uploaded my DNA raw data there. I ended up getting a couple of crappy results, a lot of invitations to pay for whatever valuable info they could actually provide, a very difficult time understanding and moving through the site and a less than efficient process to delete my account. I'm really disappointed, and I've had better experiences with at least three other DNA companies.

Hi Mauricio - We’re sorry that your experience with our reports, website, and account deletion process did not meet your expectations. We can confirm that your account and all associated data have now been permanently deleted. Genetic data is especially sensitive, and deleting an account permanently removes DNA files, reports, and results that cannot be recovered. For this reason, we require confirmation from the account owner before completing a deletion. This additional step is intended solely to prevent unauthorized or accidental data loss and to protect our customers’ privacy and security.

The turnaround times were perfectly respected, with absolutely no delays. The interface for viewing the results is quite ergonomic and user-friendly. I also want to highlight their highly responsive customer support; I contacted them regarding a suspected shipping carrier issue in Europe, but it turned out to be a false alarm with no actual problem or delay. Overall, a very smooth experience.
