Hi Mauricio - We’re sorry that your experience with our reports, website, and account deletion process did not meet your expectations. We can confirm that your account and all associated data have now been permanently deleted. Genetic data is especially sensitive, and deleting an account permanently removes DNA files, reports, and results that cannot be recovered. For this reason, we require confirmation from the account owner before completing a deletion. This additional step is intended solely to prevent unauthorized or accidental data loss and to protect our customers’ privacy and security.

Hi Monika - We understand how frustrating this felt, especially when you saw a charge on a card you were not expecting, and we take concerns like this extremely seriously. To clarify, the charge is linked to your original kit purchase, which included a one year Premium Genome Plan. This plan begins once results are delivered and, automatically renews unless canceled. In your case, it renewed on March 13, 2026, which triggered the charge. In some cases, when a card is updated or reissued by the bank, card networks may automatically route authorized subscription payments to the new card, even if it is not visibly saved in the account. Upon reviewing your accounts, we did not see any prior contact regarding this charge. That said, we have now issued a full refund, which should appear within a few business days depending on your bank. Our team has reached out directly to you and is awaiting your reply.

Your purchase includes 30x whole genome sequencing, which analyzes essentially your entire DNA. Your genetic data remains permanently available in your account once processing is complete, and access to that data is not dependent on any subscription. Additional reports and memberships are optional and not required. Regarding your experience with the platform and AI, we acknowledge that earlier versions have not always met expectations. This is an area we have been actively improving. Our team is currently preparing to release a significantly upgraded AI experience designed to provide clearer explanations in plain language and a more streamlined, user friendly interface. On clinical utility, whole genome sequencing identifies genetic variants and predispositions. Many providers use this type of data alongside clinical evaluation, while others may have varying levels of familiarity with genomic data. We also do not see prior outreach to our support team regarding these concerns. Our support team is reaching out to you directly to further assist and review your experience in detail.
