Drywall dust on everything I had there
The had drywall construction while I had my belongings in a storage unit down the hall. The storage unit was open at the top and even though I had much of it covered the drywall got under into everything.

Ridiculous Monthly Rate Increase
The facility is nice, but within a few months of renting my unit, they increased the price of my unit from $499 to close to $650. Will be looking for a different storage facility.

Clean, reliable and great value
The staff at Self Storage 1 are what make this place stand out. They are dependable and friendly. The storage building is very secure and clean, and the storage units themselves are also very clean and easily accessible through a large service elevator and plenty of industrial sized carts to haul all your stuff. I rented two storage units from them to hold all my stuff while we were transitioning between houses.

Storage Facility Nice-Price Hikes Were Excessive
The facilities were clean, accessible and secure. The staff was always helpful however the price went up significantly over the 2 years I used the space. I think the cost outweighed the value in the end.
