Do not trust Scrumstudy.com DO NOT ENROLL I am very disappointed with ScrumStudy.com I enrolled in a class two weeks in advance before the class starts. I did not receive a confirmation of of the class location, so I emailed scrumstudy.com and called the customer service requesting the class location and three days before the Start date I received an email to inform me the class has been cancelled and they would suggest to take class in a different time or online! And they would not accept a refund. The class was terminated by them so legally they should issue a full refund. It is clear to me the class was fake, they just collected money from students and then sent an email to cancel such a cheap way of doing business.

This review is factually incorrect. SCRUMstudy’s 1500+ Authorized Training Partners provide multiple options including full refund to the students in case of class cancellation. Read through the cancellation policy listed by some of our top A.T.P.s: Cancellation Policy (if course is cancelled by A.T.P.): SCRUMstudy Authorized Training Partner reserves the right to cancel classes in the event of instructor illness, force-majeure events (like floods, earthquakes, political instability), or insufficient enrollment. In the event of cancellation by A.T.P., enrollees can exercise the following options: Reschedule to a future class in any location: Students can opt to reschedule to a future class in any location. The amount paid for the A.T.P. class will be applied towards the future class. Reschedule to a virtual class: Students can opt to reschedule to a virtual A.T.P. class. This offers all the benefits of a physical A.T.P class, all study materials will be shipped in advance, and you will be able to attend the class live using a laptop or computer. The class will be coordinated by some very experienced A.T.P faculty - and you will be able to communicate with A.T.P. faculty and other attendees. You will be refunded USD 75 if you reschedule to any virtual class. Reschedule to a physical class in any location in the same dates: You can opt to reschedule to a class on the same dates. We will refund you towards your travel and stay if you reschedule to a A.T.P. class in another location on the same date as your earlier planned A.T.P. class. Enroll for online course: Students can opt to enroll for the online course. A.T.P. will refund the amount in excess of online course fee once the student decides to enroll for the online course. Ask for the full refund: Students will have the option to ask us for a full refund of their payment in case any of the above options are not suitable for them.

Thought the classes taken were beneficial for my purposes. Although not considered recognized in the Scrum/Agile community the information in the Scrum Master and Agile courses are relevant and will open doors for you and increase pay. The Scrum Certification course was challenging and the fundamentals were informational. I'm happy with the result the courses provide on paper. Now the reason I gave them three stars was due to the performance of their back office and support. Setting up testing using GMT is confusing and courses sometimes disappear that you've paid for causing grief. However, these issues were resolved and the classes provide maximum flexibility in taking the courses (up to a year). Note, if you miss a scheduled test it will cost you 50 dollars to reschedule and sometimes the site says the payment didn't go through but actually does. Check your account before trying to pay online again. Overall I'm satisfied with their operation so far.

I found Scrum Alliance- CSM (Certified Scrum Master), Scrumstudy.com - SMC (Scrum Master Certified) and Scrum.org -PSM (Professional Scrum Master) offer certifications in Scrum. I went through each and observe that all of the certification body has same SCRUM framework . I went through free SCRUM Open assessment offered by Scrum.org and scored 93% there and passed free SFC (Scrum Foundation Course) by Scrum Study . CSM is all training based but i went through content outline found pretty much same SCRUM framework . Finally , I decided to go with SMC (Scrum Master Certified) offered by Scrum Study as it has well organized structure . They have well written SBOK like PMI has PMBOK which practitioner can follow in daily work and make use of SCRUM framework effectively . I have found that Scrumstudy's courses and certifications offer more in the way of guidance for practical application of the framework. That guidance in the real world application of Scrum was what I found missing in other Scrum courses and exams / certifications. So, when I found Scrumstudy and the SBOK I was really excited to see that they offer some real information on how to implement Scrum. I took SMC class from one of their ATP and trainer was agile coach from Amazon having great real time knowledge and experience .

Very good staff....very good after sales services. Atleast they are providing whatever they are committing. Very comprehensive training special designed for the working professionals. Those who are negative about scrumstudy are those who believe solely on google researches but my friends these are hand maded and can be created by paying some amount to seo team. Overall am satisfied with the services and if you want to check the legitimacy give it a try.

Like most seasoned Agilest, I was a bit concerned about ScrumStudy, but after coming down off my high horse, I was surprised with their content and certification process. ScrumStudy provided me with more information than my CSM course. ScrumStudy as a certification body is maturing much faster than Scrum Alliance or Scrum.org, and their SBOK (Scrum Book of Knowledge) has come a long way. It is now; a must have, resource, for Scrum practitioners. Many seasoned Agilest will have a concern about ScrumStudy. Many like me, without any real information. In the end, when I got my CSM, it was a total waste of two days except as a resume enhancer, as are all of the entry certifications for anyone who has been using Scrum for more than a week - This includes ScrumStudy SMC, SPOC, and SDC; Scrum Alliance’s CSM, CSPO, and CSD; Scrum.org’s PSM, PSPO and PSD; and PMI’s ACP. Content: ScrumStudy - Content prepared and reviewed by committee of experts thus it is more engaging, more focused, and more relevant. Scrum Alliance - Content is up to the individual instructors. Scrum.org - Content is up to the individual instructors. PMI-ACP - Content is exam focused and not regulated, but the exams and certification process are very rigid. Instructors: ScrumStudy - Need to pass a series of exams and take several relevant courses, but may not have the experience that the others have. Scrum Alliance - Generally well-seasoned in using Scrum and Agile. Scrum.org - Generally well-seasoned in using Scrum and Agile. PMI-ACP - Not regulated. Brand: ScrimStudy – Weakest but growing stronger very fast. Scrum Alliance – By far the strongest but losing ground to ScrumStudy and PMI-ACP. Scrum.org – Weak but respected by having Ken Schwaber as an instructor. PMI-ACP – Strong due to their associations with PMP certification and their reputation for a rigid certification process. Overall: The scrum master, product owner, and developer trainings are very basic and any will do. More advanced courses are a better judge of knowledge. ScrumStudy - strong point - their content and exam. Scrum Alliance - strong point - the knowledge of their instructors. Scrum.org - strong point - the knowledge of their instructors. PMI-ACP - strong point - their rigid certification process.

Want to get a Scrum Master certification? Don't use ScrumStudy. I took a Scrum Master Certified training course by Scrum Study (and yes, I'm choosing to capitalize Scrum correctly) and became suspicious when they referred to the SBOK guide. This caused me to do some research. Turns out Scrum Study has created their own Scrum Master certification that is totally made up by them...really based on only their own word. They are capitalizing on having a similar sounding certification to Scrum Alliance's certification (SA: Certified Scrum Master, SS: Scrum Master Certified). Furthermore, they have created the SBOK, or "Scrum Body of Knowledge" Guide, no doubt capitalizing on the familiarity of PMI's PMBOK (Project Mgr BOK). This is all marketing that takes advantage of the fact that Scrum certification is too new to have a recognized authority. If you are looking for a recognized scrum master certification, consider the Certified Scrum Master (ScrumAlliance) or Professional Scrum Master (Scrum.org) certifications...each of these is recognized by the industry and many jobs require "CSM or PSM" certification...NOT "SMC". Furthermore, the SBOK is almost an abomination of Scrum. It takes the official Scrum Guide, written by the founders of Scrum and designed to be short and simple, and blows it up into a giant book. It is almost the antithesis of Scrum. It's truly an organization created to make money off the current popularity of Scrum and actually goes against some of its practices. Train with them if you want, but don't trust their certification, and don't count on the SBOK to be legit. Just study the Scrum Guide, free to anyone online.

I recently took one of their SMC course and was very impressed with the study materials and the way the trainer delivered the course with some innovative fun games!
