Great unit with minor adjustments
Love it, but could still use some improvements. Bought the Pro unit, and I will honestly say it gets hot enough forsure. I was skeptical as I like my saunas and steam rooms to be 140+, but instead of 10-15min sessions at those temps, with this unit I just have to stay in a bit longer, about 20-30min sessions between cool-downs. I have the sauna outside, in a covered greenhouse to protect from the elements, and it's usually around 30 degrees fahrenheit outside when in use. Takes about 15 min to get warm, and runs efficiently on a full tank for about 90 min before running out of water I usually top it off around 60 min so it warms back up quickly and keeps the steam sesh rolling. My issues are with the tent, not the steam unit itself; - It could be better insulated, it gets cold within a minute after the steamer shuts off. - The floor of the tent stays cold, requiring me to wear sandals during use to keep my feet off the cold, wet floor. - The tent doesn't drain well enough, and the included mat just stays sopping wet. There's always a pool of water in the bottom, so I even switched from sandals to taller Crocs so my feet wouldn't be submerged in the fridgid puddle that maintains a depth of around 1/2" condensate/sweat when in use for longer than 15min. This could be solved with a simple cedar plank mat or something similar to elevate the feet just enough off the floor and allow the water to drain more freely. I have the tent set on a deck with 6" boards and 3/8" between them so drainage below the tent is not the issue. This is really my only serious gripe with the tent, and I will probly build a mat out of cedar planks myself because that would make a massive difference in the experience. - The chair kinda sucks, it's a bit small and digs into my shoulders (I'm 5'10" and 185lbs). Space is extremely limited so it's hard to find one that will fit right. - Lastly it would be great if a simple Velcro/ hook and loop style headrest was included that could be attached to the frame/cross frame. I use a towel but it's not ideal. With all that said, I love it, and use it almost daily for about an hour at a time. Very cost effective way to get my steam and sweat sessions in without totally breaking the bank or just being flat unobtainable for someone like myself that simply can't afford a legit sauna which cost thousands.
