Had lost my data when my cat knocked my external drive off my desk. I was worried because I heard a clicking noise and found out that’s not something you want to hear. Salvage Data did a good job getting back the files because everything was the same way as before. They did warn me that because of the damage that some files were corrupt but I ended up getting back what I needed, so I was happy. My account rep was very helpful and went over the file list with me to confirm it was the right data. I specified which files were important and they had them conveniently separated into a new folder for me. I was originally getting quotes for up to $2,500 so I’m happy I went with them!

They could really improve in their customer service department personnel. Rudest customer service rep. that I have ever had to deal with. I've been a secretary for over 30 years & deal with a lot of people in person & on the phone. Never in all those years have I dealt with a ruder person. They have some great reviews (that's why I chose them) but they didn't really do anything for me but take my money. Long story short if you pick them because of their great reviews make sure when you call them if George answers please ask for someone else. Believe me you will appreciate the heads up.

I had a hard drive that crashed and had another company look at it. They said it could be recovered, but it would cost a lot. I found Salvagedata and sent them my drive as instructed. Once they got it, they said it would cost $200 for them to evaluate it even though their website said evaluation was free. I found that kind of shady so I asked them to send it back. The package I got had my drive wrapped in a single sheet of the small bubble wrap. I had sent it in a static free bag with an inch of bubble wrap. They sent it back like they didn't care. They didn't even follow their own web site instructions on how to package the drive. Pretty poor service and very unprofessional.

Glad I found these guys as I was previously told things were hopeless. The good work done by these guys saved the day for our small office.

Really wish I'd never lose the data to begin with, but it's my fault for not having a backup so lesson learned. Things started our brought in the beginning, however these guys are absolutely EXCEPTIONAL in the way they communicated with me once things started. Thanks
