gurantee policy is not worth it
gurantee policy is not worth it. ordered a blonde naso, regal, and flame angel. regal upon receipt was obviously very stressed and at no point moved from laying on its side. knowing that this fish can do this as a defense mechanism I put in a qt tank by it self but it died later that night. other 2 fish are thriving. all I wanted was another regal but because I didnt communicate the fish being dead within 3 hours of shipping receipt, i was issued a credit. I guess I shouldn't have giving it a chance. again, however, all I wanted was another regal. they refused to ship one for free and I had no option but to use the credit towards another one and was again charged the ridiculous packing fee along with tax PLUS had to spend another 80 bucks to get free shipping as credit cant be utizlized towards that...what the heck!! anyway...new regal came and clearly had a bacterial infection in an eye (guess they recieved a bad batch or something is running through their systems). I felt I had the ability to treat in my qt but within a week it had become blind and died. btw.. other 2 fish from original order are still 100 percent healthy and are in same qt system. so..somewhat embarrassingly, I make another request claim. to my shock they issued HALF of my money back because of it being paid with store credit. so to obtain another regal I'll have to shell out another 100 bucks out pocket. again...all I wanted was the regal to be honored from my original order and to have it I'll ultimately have to shell out an additional 200 bucks from that order. complete and utter BS,totally unacceptable, and a pathetic stance. moral of the story: if a fish comes from them with the slightest of twitches or concerns. do not give it an opportunity to live because if it doesnt; it will end up costing way more than its value.
