Could’ve saved myself $1,000 if I’d gone to Sally’s, first.
Store #5571 Excellent service! I endured 3 mall-salon appointments totalling around $1,000 and STILL hadn’t achieved the colour I was looking for. (I’d done a consult, and brought both photos & video, to be sure my stylist & I were both on the same page.) Disappointed with my results, Youtube videos encouraged me to try doing it myself, with the help of Sally’s. Sales staff were super-helpful at this location. All their suggestions worked, and I finally had the hair colour I wanted. In fact, at my next mall-salon appointment, my hair colour looked so good, the stylist asked if I’d had my hair coloured by another stylist. (A few stylists at that salon were also trying, but not quite achieving, a similar colour. When I came in for a cut with my new colour, they fawned over my hair. Yeah...I knew it looked glorious.) When I confirmed I’d done it myself, with the help of Sally employees, the stylist quipped that my colour had to be (this product #), and (this product #) only. (The only way to get that colour, she insisted.) I said, “Oh, no. This is (different product #), with a splash of (other product).” The stylist was noticeably surprised by this information. If only I’d known what an awesome resource Sally employees are, when it comes to hair colour, I could’ve saved myself $1,000.
