Had a great time. Staff was a little soft spoken so it made it hard to hear everything. Enjoyable tour. Maybe a little pricey for what we actually did.

Our guide was great. He was born and raised in Salem, MA. He knows his history, he can even "play" a scene rather than tell it. One of his ancestors, a pastor/priest, was hung in Salem. We walked around Salem to different points/areas. The walk lasted about 1.5 to 2 hours. Very instructive and fascinating. I was worth the $85 per person.

I originally booked the boos and brews tour. I received a pending email then a confirmed email with the instructions on where and when to meet. I arrived at the designated waiting place early but no one was there. I received a call from the organization asking if I was in the meeting place, I was. Then I called customer support who said she would reach out to the tour guide. I got a text asking if I was in the meeting place, I replied that I was. Again, no one from the company appeared to be there. A couple of minutes after the scheduled start time, and having not heard replies from the phone calls or texts, I called again, the same woman answered. She informed me the tour was cancelled due to transportation problems. At that point I had waited 20 minutes. They rebooked me to a different tour that started shortly. The witch trial history tour by Mason was absolutely incredible. Mason was a fantastic guide. He was passionate and knowledgeable about the topic and had a lot of insightful tidbits. His story telling was excellent. I appreciated how well versed he was on the topic, including dispelling common misconceptions. Despite the rocky start and rebooking, Mason made the adventure worth it.

Our guide, Mason, was truely great! He made the tour into an immersive happening. He was open to all our questions, told stories very lively and was very friendly. We learned a thing or two about Salem and the witches.

For the tour itself, I wish it was more ghost telling, however our tour guide was very nice knowledgeable about Salem and very funny. Just need to put a little bit more spooky into it. Also, when it’s very busy, maybe have a easier meeting place that’s not as crowded with people.
