The tub is all and more than I expected. The only problem is my own fault. I should have got the wider tub. This one is a little more cramped getting in and out of.

Competent and timely installation–following a pretty thorough pre-sales consultation (sales pitch). Not "cheap" in any sense...be sure you need and can afford it.

This tub is not made for the person who is on the "heavy" side. The door way is narrow ..not so easy to enter..People need to be told that you need at least a 50/40 gallon water heater to fill the tub..I was not told this

Excellent service! We had scheduled an appointment with a rival company (American Standard) the same day for estimates, and they never showed up, didn't even call! We were on a tight schedule and the entire Safe Step crew was helpful and accommodating from scheduling the estimate through job completion, and THEY made it happen! They kept their word, were courteous, friendly and we had the best experience. It was an expensive investment, but worth every penny for the look on my mom's face! You get what you pay for and in this instance, we got the best!

The price is not $15.5k but $22.5k with new hot water tank!!! Your 40 or 50 gal tank will not be sufficient to supply even a warm bath. The Step-in tub requires 65+ gallons to fill. In order to get a comfortable bath, you need (at a minimum) a 75 gal high recovery hot water tank. We would not recommend this to anyone who does not absolutely require it!
