Price seemed appropriate. Delivered fairly quick, though did not arrive until after request for rating. Haven't installed yet but looks straitforward enough. No instructions included.

Customer Service did as well as one could ask for, helpful in placing an order and correcting a minor broken-in-shipping part issue. The result should be closer to 5-star except for the lack of the half assembly cover being available at the time, honestly the only weak link in a design, that doesn't really affect usage as more a cosmetic item. The following is the review of the item itself: We had the original awning for a few years, and caught a branch, unsuspected to be a threat, ruining both original arms but miraculously leaving the motorhome unscathed. Avoiding damages that would have been multiple times the cost of replacement arms (even with inclusion of motor and 'covers' in the kit) is a silver lining to our mistake. The design allowed us to remove the original mounts and power wire with a socket wrench in minutes, with only a few lag screw holes to duct tape over. The kit not only came with motor and shroud /shells but a revised switch unit that allows separate on/off settings, and perhaps a more automated extension and retraction. The only reason for the lack of a 5-star rating was the plastic shroud 'clam shell' parts that cover the roller ends at motor and idler ends. These are unfortunately latched together by two small plastic catches with about the strength of a pinky fingernail and the first shipment arrived with one of the four broken off. I'd never have caught this at first but in emptying the shipping box, the quarter inch broken bit was rolling around. Bad news is that it's only sold in pairs (two pairs are different --- motor, and idler side) for over $60 per side. Good news is system works fine without the 'covers'. I broke one first winter shoveling in lake effect Adirondack snow removal, and the other end popped off touching a branch when parking in Syracuse but never got to check if the other half's latch was broken then. Carefree didn't have the half or full shell covers available so we had to pack up entire arms package and return an almost 30 lb, 6-foot-long box over an hour away to the nearest UPS drop off location. Both shipments were accurate and timely, actually shipped from just one state away, not CO. Surprisingly, second box had more wear and tear but survived, with an added foam block not in the first, in spite of no internal parts box and a torn end of the box. Still not sure how the delicate latch survives shipped attached to the heavier arms in a box without enough protection in my opinion, supported by one not fully successful delivery. 'Free shipping' helped a bit there. Again, customer service was helpful and as effective as they could be with the setbacks they had to work with.

Replacement lights for our travel van. European style led lights for the porch. All pieces came as promised. It is not difficult to replace but pay attention to how the eyebrow snaps in place. Double check to see it is secure. The plastic does eventually fatigue and fail. Therefore the replacement.

Could have better communication about availability and delivery. Price was high but product fit and functioned as expected.

The part came in damaged but I was able to switch out the part from the old piece. It would be nice to have ordered it without the motor. That part wasn't bad on my damaged unit. It also would have been nice to have a few instructions.

I recently needed a part for an awning. I was able to download a parts illustration and figure out what I needed to order. It got a little tougher after that, in the parts illustration the code 006 designates the color which is black. When you try to find the part number with the 006 it doesn't work. I finally used BLK at the end of the part number and guess what? It worked! It could have been a little simpler. Anyway, got the part and I'm a happy camper.

Although the part number and nomenclature was a bit confusing, i.e. “1/2 Set”, both motor arm and idler arm were included in the box along with new mounting hardware. Great product and very timely and free shipment/delivery directly to the RV Resort. 👍 -jc
