Check your motor housing
Hi, I originally purchased this product in 2020 or 2021 and was initially very happy with the product. It worked well for about a year and half give or take a month or two. I contacted the company when I was experiencing difficulty with the product opening and closing correctly. After spending way too much money on new batteries and reseting the unit numerous times it would still not work correctly. The company asked me for video showing what was wrong which I provided and ultimately they deemed the unit defective. I was given a 50 dollar rebate on a replacement motor housing which I thought was fair at the time. Upon receiving the new motor housing I compared it with my old one and noticed it was built a lot stronger. This surprised me because I thought I had purchased the updated run chicken coop door model T 50. On this new motor housing the button that you push to manually open and close it was sealed and the motor housing was also sealed. If I had known it was upgraded that much I would have returned the product I purchased within the year warranty or asked them for a new motor housing before the warranty was up. In all I am happy with the product but think I was sold a unit with an out of date motor housing.
