Easy to install. Effective. A bit clunky to set up but works great and reliable

I had an older out of warranty door fail. Customer worked with me to troubleshoot. When it could not be fixes, they had a new drive motor sent to me within two days.

I have changed my review from 3 stars to 5 stars. I was able to get my door programmed. I have changed my review from 1 star to 3 stars. Run-Chicken was very helpful when my door stopped working due to a motor failure. They walked me through some troubleshooting and then they sent a new controller. The reason I am only at three stars is I cannot program the new controller. I have tried multiple times and I can't get the program to update. Might be user error or might be something with the controller. I will update when I can update the program. Original post: My Run-Chicken door did not open. Tried calling customer support but the phone number doesn't work. Sent and email and hope they respond quickly. Only had it for 5-weeks.

Worked exactly as advertised! We have had hens since 2007 and they have always been open to attack if the run ever had a chink in the armor. Now they are closed up in the coop overnight and I can sleep better when I hear the coyotes outside!

This chicken door is amazing. The light sensor works excellent. I love that I never have to program it as daylight hours change.

Had a slight hiccup with shipping and after reaching out I received a very fast reply and solution. Quality of the door and quick customer service makes run chicken stand out way in front of any competition.. the door is made of steel and not plastic junk like others on the market.. special addition paint job make it a piece of art.. thank you run-chicken for making my birds safe

Got the replacement motor and module in a timely manner. Had hoped the original module would have lasted for more than one year.
