After shopping online with different hat makers I just didn't want a traditional straw hat. I came across Ruediger Hats and decided to take a chance. Oh Man, was that the right decision. The hat came in an incredibly sturdy box with no flaws when I took it out. Right out of the box it fit just fine and was pretty true to size. I did utilize one of the hat pads to make it just a little smaller. I also had to change the crown from the traditional cattlemans crease to a new crown I recently saw called the Pacific Coast Highway. Once I did that the hat sat lower on my head and allowed for an even better fit. This has been by far my favorite straw hat. I am looking forward to purchasing a felt hat in the future. I have gotten compliments everywhere to include my podcast where I was quick to say how awesome the hat is.

Your hats are very cool. Your pricing is good as well compared to other wool-only hat makers. The wool was easily shaped by a shop since the crown for my head was too shallow. The hats are also very round for your head to fit in. I have a big head, but I had to use hat foam. I would love to buy a straw hat, but I fear the shaping process would not work out since I like my hats to sit further down on the head, and I fear you cannot really shape the straw crown like you can a felt.

I bought a straw which was priced well, not cheap, not expensive, which was delivered quickly. The style is great. The fit is good. I love wearing it and look forward to the new look this summer.

After I placed the order, I was contacted by the Owner directly who let me know that during the packing process a blemish was noticed. He assured gave me plenty of options including a refund. I really wanted this hat for a certain occasion. He had the hat remade and expedited shipping with extras. The customer service was excellent keeping in contact with me daily and the hat arrived in shorter time than projected!! Excellent service and beautiful hat!!
