Excellent sitter
Excellent sitter! This was our first time to use Rover and found it easy to navigate and we got a great sitter for a week to stay at our home and care for our elderly dog.

The App was easy
The App was easy, the communication was trustworthy. Felt a bit hesitant just because I was new to it but extremely happy about the outcome. Michael was very nice and prompt to our request.

Practical and reliable.
Been using it for 18 months now. It's easy to find a sitter fitting my dog's needs. I only had good experiences with all oh them.

Let me be clear
Let me be clear. The person I used was phenomenal. Would highly recommend her. This is a review of Rover.com. I think the site is not user friendly as compared to other service sites, such as Airbnb. It was harder to navigate and I'm tired of the continual follow up emails/notifications. After my dog's stay I received an email to leave my provider a tip - I thought that was extremely tacky. Plus the percentage that Rover tacks on makes the fee significantly more expensive than I anticipated. You can do better Rover!

Everything went exactly as planned
Everything went exactly as planned. I have never used a house/pet sitter before so I was a bit nervous. But, it was a great experience and extremely easy to set up the appointments.

I have used Rover a few times to have people watch out dog. I love that there are honest reviews and ratings. Everything is tracked thru the website and sitters are vetted. It is easy to use and I have had some awesome sitters.

Unexpected need
The process to register and start reaching out to potential pet caregivers was easy and I was able to secure the person I was most interested in. I had just traveled 1100 miles from home and the need for assistance was not anticipated; Rover was an excellent solution recommended by friends who have used the service.
