I was in a huge bind when the friend who was scheduled to watch my cat cancelled less than 24 hrs before we were set to leave on vacation. It was the holidays and there was no one else I could call. I made sure to contact someone with well over a hundred 5-star reviews and many repeat clients -- and she was absolutely awesome, with great communication, lots of pics and videos -- the service I received truly exceeded my expectations. Being that Rover's primary function is to connect sitters with clients, I am sure that who you choose matters, and makes all the difference. There are good people, there are bad people -- but I totally lucked out. And found someone I will definitely hire again. I honestly do not know what I would have done if I hadn't found Rover.

The thing that made my experience great was Danielle who was the sitter I chose. I hope more than anything that this service will not ever worry more about the business than the caregivers that provide the value to the business. This service needs to be. It was easy to contact someone, but the website could have been more useful.Because it made it seem like I had to hire someone every day. When in reality I only needed every other day.

Babysitter wasn't reliable enough for my standards. To complacent, not enough communication, lack of enthusiasm for my pet. Was mainly in it for the money. And Rover rated her five star 🌟. That what I base my decision on when selecting Heather. How she got five star is besides me!!

I've had three separate sitters from Rover now and each one has been a gem! We have three cats and one has diabetes, so when we leave town, we have to make sure that he can get his twice-daily insulin shots. Through Rover, we've been able to find friendly people who love cats and are able to give insulin shots. Everything has gone smoothly with the three sitters we've used, and we've used them multiple times.
