Found the best sitter on Rover! Communication was great, loved the cards with all the photos. Felt better knowing the sitter was background checked.

The Rover service is easy to use, the pet sitter, Caroline, was reliable, friendly, and meticulous in her care for my two cats. The sitter provides daily reports letting you know how the pets are doing and provides pictures so you can see that they are being cared for as agreed. I will continue to use Rover for my pet sitting needs.

Have used Rover for years as both a pet owner & pet sitter, with generally positive experiences until the end of 2025. Due to a glitch on Rover's system, my holiday pay rates were not applied and was owed around an extra £60 by Rover for this error on one cat sit - several msgs & screen shots later and still not been compensated 1.5 months later. Responses have been AI generated so screen shots & important info was missed. Additionally, subsequent drop ins (around 4/5 cat drop ins booked) I did were charged by Rover at £15 / £18 (standard rate + holiday rate) instead of the £18 / £23 on my Rover advert, and then a further cut was taken out of this pay, amounting to £6 instead of the £3 or 15% cut Rover usually takes out of every cat / dog drop in, dog board or walk. Absolutely fuming about this and the poor communication of Rover staff.

Great experience from start to finish. It was easy to reserve a dog sitter on Rover.com. The dog sitter that I contacted, Shawna E., was very accommodating and responsive throughout the entire process and provided my dog with a wonderful stay! I will definitely utilize Rover and Shawna again! Thank you!

I was able to review several individuals with Rover to place my dog for a stay. I love the fact that I could see reviews from other individuals and the distance from my home to theirs. Randy did awesome with my dog, sending pictures, etc. I will use him again.
