I appreciate being able to contact dog walkers in my area, that’s great, but I can’t figure how to request certain date/times to them besides sending them messages. And it would really be nice if I could get a calendar generated by Rover showing me who is walking my dog what day and when without having to create one on my own!

Avoid! Don't think they check if sitters have dog boarding licenses from the council which is legal requirement to board dogs
I selected a local sitter in Southampton and said I would just need to check with my insurance company, but all looked good, she seemed friendly and was available. My insurance company suggested I check some things with her like did she have legal and liability insurance if for example my dog ran off and caused a car accident. She admitted she didn't have insurance but asked me to check Rover's cover. I then discovered by looking at another company dog sitters must have a license by the council - it's a legal requirement and means the Council can check the sitter and the property; see the Government's guidance on this online (I'm unable to post the link). As soon as I asked if she had this license she cancelled the booking. This has wasted so much time and surely Rover should ask to see this license before accepting a member. Rover shouldn't be advertising people who can't provide the legal license. We have a holiday booked and no sitter so I have to start again, this time using a company who do ensure their members don't mind being asked to provide the legal certificates. I'm very disappointed with Rover and will not recommend them.

Hi Kate, thank you for sharing your experience. We’re sorry this situation caused stress ahead of your holiday. Some dog sitters offering boarding may need a licence under the Animal Activities Licensing Regulations, depending on location, services, and income. However, Dog Walking, Drop-In Visits, and House Sitting don’t require one. As self employed individuals, sitters are responsible for ensuring they comply with local council and government regulations. You can also find more information in our Terms of Service and Help Centre. If you’d like help finding another sitter, Rover Support is available 24/7 at (888) 453-7889. -Brittney

Krystal Whisperer
Krystal, goes above and beyond making sure that my dog is safe and comfortable. She's attentive to my dogs needs and being a former PetSmart employee truly helps. My dog will not eat at times and of course concerns me . However, Krystal reassures me that she's experiencing separation anxiety and this is normal. Eventually, my dog will eat and goes on a hunger strike again 😊She loves to run around Krystals big backyard and Krystal matches my dogs high energy level.
This is my second time using Krystal and will continue to use her loving and supportive services.

jessica sends me a picture every day
jessica sends me a picture every day. she seems to be getting along with my cat well. she changes the cat water daily, feeds her daily, tends to the litterbot, and plays with her for the rest of the hour. my cat is a bit standoffish, but bella nipped her nose the first day (bella's kiss). so i'm happy that bella is playing with her, indicating bella is comfortable with jessica. when i message jessica, she responds very quickly. i would recommend jessica.
