I dislike that there doesn't seem to be a way for potential dog sitters to limit a radius for how far theyre willing to travel for drop ins or block out specific dates and times. I couldn't match a long term sitter because of this.

This made our life so much easier with 3 dogs. We love our pet sitter Raelynn, she was awesome and our dogs absolutely love her.

I’m currently listening to a dog get abused, my neighbour advertises themselves as kind and caring to animals but they are hitting these poor dogs - the whining is terrible! Please don’t use Rover - they are not properly vetted or checked.

This knowledge, combined with his natural compassion, ensures that my dog is not only safe but also emotionally well-cared for. Instead of sticking to standard street walks, he goes above and beyond to provide a stimulating experience. He clearly thrives in the outdoor environment, and that enthusiasm is contagious. He takes the time to find trails and natural spaces that make the outings a true highlight of my dog's day. It is clear that he enjoys these adventures just as much as the dogs do. I love my sitters... Great people, good communication, dogs happy. I don't like the Rover app. Everytime I use it l have to bumble around yet again. And chatting with sitters is made difficult because the chat could be online, in a text, but doesn't necessarily show up in both.... I have missed some messages.

While the sitters we have had have been great, it does not seem worthwhile for this company to take 20% of the sitter’s earnings and then charge an additional 7-8% fee to the customer. Nothing provided by them warrants this and makes them appear to be just another greedy business.

Platform is easy to use. I feel it provides a level of security when seeking someone who will be in my home when I am away. The first person we've booked has been great, this platform made it easy to find her.
