Took my money for a profile, but they wouldn't create it because I work with animals professionally. Tried to tell me i don't own my photos (I do) and they have no problem allowing literal drug addicts to create profiles, but someone like me who is actually certified in training and grooming and first aid and has owned successful and reputable pet care facilities for several decades along with insurance, is not permitted due to some fictitious conflict of interest. Clearly, the safety and well-being of the actual animals is not the priority.

Pet sitter was extremely professional, was dependable, did a great job, and obviously loves pets.

I found a sitter on Rover and took my dog to meetthem. It all seemed good until a couple of days later when the sitter rang me to cancel because she was now going to a party on the first night she was having him! Rover then only sent back half of the fee I paid (which took 5 days) They tried to say I cancelled! I have since received the remaining money after several messages sent! I'd be wary of using this service in future!

The Rover app is user friendly. It made finding a reliable pet sitter in my local area simple. The app provides pictures and a small bio of the available pet sitters which makes it easier to choose someone who will fit your needs. Also, the app allows the sitter to provide pictures and a daily report of how your fur baby is doing while you are away. Paying and booking with the app is also very easy.

It's easy to use and always reimburses quickly if a trip needs to be postponed or canceled. I use them for drop bys and house sitting.

Was able to find dependable care for my elderly cat. Very impressed with help I received. Would highly recommend!

I have been stood up twice by different sitters on this app. Asked to meet before booking, set a meeting date and time and neither showed. I really believe they expect you to let them into your house without ever meeting them so they can rob you!
