Ich bin ehemalige Cat-in-a-flat-Sitterin, und dort ist alles sehr gut gelaufen. Seriöse Abwicklung, nette Kontakte, übersichtliche und einfache Plattform und die Gebühren waren angemessen. Rover ist extrem kompliziert und unübersichtlich. Man hat den Eindruck, es geht nur ums Geld. Für mich ist das Sitten ein Hobby und kleiner Nebenjob in Einem. Die Hälfte der Einnahmen werden jetzt abkassiert. Zudem steht die Hundebetreuung stark im Vordergrung, Katzensitter und auch Besitzer gehen da fast unter. Kundenservice ist Fehlanzeige. Nur KI. Und dafür bezahlt man so hohe Gebühren.

We have booked pet sitting for our cat twice with Rover and will use the service again. Both times, we have been fortunate to have Laura C. as our pet sitter. She has been excellent in caring for our cat and in communicating and coordinating with us prior to and during the pet sitting period with include daily updates with a picture of our cat. We discovered Laura C. through a friend's recommendation, and we highly recommend her to others. Rover is an excellent platform for supporting the entire transaction and communications. The phone and online apps are intuitive and easy to use.

What can I say about Cecil & his ENTIRE FAMILY?!?! They are ALL absolutely wonderful!.!! The way they cared for Freya (our 2 year old Charcoal Labrador) was nearly identical to how any of our family would've cared for her. They kept me informed on how she was adjusting, sent me lots of photos & even gave her Heart Worm Medication (as it landed on a day before we returned from our trip) | was especially happy that Freya found a new Doggy Best Friend in THEIR Labrador Harper 🥰 Although I'm DEFINITELY one of those Pet Parents who can be overly protective of their Babies, they set my mind at ease which is exactly what you NEED when you're on vacation. I never once stressed about the care she was receiving. When I asked my Son (who picked her up for us the day we flew back home how she looked when he got there he said "She blended right in with their family. You'd never know she wasn't one of their pets" That in itself speaks volumes. If you're on the fence about using Cecil for your next dog sitting needs let me be the first to tell you He & His Family are Perfect!!! Well worth the money spent. I will 1000% use his service again When we book our next getaway.

Life is like a box of chocolates applies to Rover. You "never" know what you will get! One sitter did not replenish food or change water the 10 days I was gone. She also did not change three litter boxes so my cats proceeded to poop on every 200 square inch of my tiled bathroom!! I couldn't breathe when I came home and saw it. I am a very OCD clean person. In contacting Rover they forced interaction between me and the Rover sitter whom I felt neglected my cats greatly. It was like a hoarding situation, but my house!! Now the next sitter was better. It's really just an advertising site for sitters. Rover stands behind their sitters ZERO percent. Be aware. I recommend cameras on areas pets are in especially food and water bowls.
