Rover forces you to pay the holiday rate for the entire booking window, even if its only a fraction of the booking. They should consider the entire length of the session before applying the extea fees. Eg: Full fee for the holiday and a day before and after if the overall window is 8 days or more. Charge all days at holiday if overall booking is 7 days or less. Or something like that. By applying the fee to an entire booking raises the costs substantially in some cases. Rover also automatically closes your review if you start it and don't finish within 3 days. They should alert you before automatically closing it. We all have busy lives and things come up that take precedence but the pet sitters deserve to have a better process if someone wants to leave a glowing review. I wanted to take my time to write a well thought review for my sitters because they did an amazing job. I found out the hard way that my review was automatically submitted by Rover and they make no exceptions to allow me to post my review. Again, the people who are sitters deserve a better process. At the very least Rover should send an alert and let people know they only have 3 days once they start the review. Or allow posts outside of the review process.

Suzelande took such great care of my pup! They were patient, loving, and made sure he felt comfortable and happy. I appreciated the updates and knowing he was being treated like family. I would absolutely trust them to watch him again!
