I would be very wary of booking with rover for two reasons. We have had good and bad experiences. Some sitters have been great. However, some sitters cancellations policies are something to look into very carefully before booking. We have been stung for hundreds of pounds due to unclear, onerous and extensive cancellation policies. Secondly, and most importantly, a sitter, through lack of care, let our dog escape. An unbelievably stressful experience, that by a miracle our dog survived and was found. Rover themselves are very helpful, but that help only goes so far when we have had very mixed experiences with sitters, their level of care and their cancellation polices and we have felt let down by them.

I thought Melissa and her husband were very professional, I loved how they not only kept me informed daily they also sent videos and pictures which made this whole experience and my recovery way less stressful! They took great care of my baby and I couldn’t be more appreciative!

I needed a dog sitter for a week while I was out of town. Rover made it very easy to find a dog sitter near me for a reasonable price. It was half the price of a doggy hotel. Dog sitter was great and I had zero issues. 🐕

I have had no problems using Rover. I have been able to find reliable pet care. Communication (text/email) & payment is easy and I would recommend Rover for those looking for pet care in your area. Plus the added benefit of Rover requiring & keeping a record of all communication.

Easy to find sitters and loved that I could see if they have repeat clients and also the user-friendliness of the Rover platform. Love that the sitters are vetted. Its a one stop shop. I used them recently and was finally able to enjoy a week long vacation. My husband has a hard time trusting people so this was a challenge but the sitter we hired was very professional and had ove 80+ repeat customers. That says alot! First experience using Rover and won't be the last.
