My dog sitter never came to walk my dog, I immediately had to cut my vacation trip short and come home and asked Robert for a refund. It’s been a nightmare they still have not gave me a refund. My dog sitter ameenah A was suppose to sleep over 2 nights and never showed up as I explained to the rover support and they seem to not understand and still paid the sitter. I’m furious. I heard so many bad things about the dog sitters on rover and I chose not to believe it and here we are in the same situation I was warned about. My puppy left home alone all day and over night in the dark. Still looking for a full refund.

I booked a Rover dog sitter over a week prior to my out of state vacation. I drove almost 4 hours expecting the pet sitter to meet me at our hotel. I booked her for four hours on each of our three nights so I could go out to dinner each night with family. The sitter gave me her cell phone number. She never answered my calls. I had texted her letting her know I was driving and what time to expect me at the hotel. When I got to the hotel, I called Rover for help. The first representative hung up on me. I continued to be transferred from one department to another. One representative told me the sitter had a family emergency and I was out of luck. I was on the phone with them for over an hour. This was my first and last time to use Rover. They ruined our vacation and provided no help to resolve the situation.

Overall Rover is a good place find a pet sitter. But navigating their website requires a PhD in shitty websites.

Their website is terrible. You can't find anything you're looking for. The experience for first-time users is confusing and frustrating.
