By then your account is probably locked, there is no form or process for that so good luck getting it unlock. Being digital native, it is the one company I want a monthly paper statement from. 0 digital trust. What is automated is the customer service. No live humans on the other end. If you have a choice, do not use.

My loan was sold to RoundPoint as of Nov. 1, and they are terrible! I've had home loans since the mid-90's, and paid off three homes. That means I've worked with dozens of mortgage companies. RoundPoint is by far the worst! I agree with the comments about terrible customer service! They put customers through phone hell, with no option to talk to a person. I spent 20 to 30 minutes on several occasions going through their phone hell, trying to reach a human. It's impossible! Within a week of RoundPoint taking over my loan, they sent me a Collection Notice. They said "we are trying to collect a debt that is owed. We will use any information to collect the debt." I HAVE NEVER MISSED A LOAN PAYMENT IN 30+ YEARS!! IN ADDITION, ROUNDPOINT HAD ALREADY COLLECTED PAYMENT THROUGH ACH AND UPDATED THEIR WEBSITE WITH CURRENT PAYMENT!! They said I owed the full amount of the loan and I needed to reply by Dec. 19, 2022. This is ludicrous! I reported the situation to CFPB who thought I had a valid case. Suddenly someone from RoundPoint responded. I received a call from Chris at their "executive" accounts, as he claimed. He confirmed they received my payment. He said this "letter" was sent to all CA loan recipients and that it was "normal". I've had 30+ years of mortgages with many different mortgage companies and NONE of them-- NONE-- ZERO-- Zilch-- ever sent a notice like this. It was assembled like a payment notice with tear-off at the bottom saying I needed to pay immediately. They already had my payment!! And there was NO way to reach them to discuss this. Every other mortgage company I've worked with has good customer service, and I could easily reach a human on the phone-- easily! RoundPoint is HORRIFIC in all aspects of service! The conversation with Chris was filled with excuses. He didn't respond to any questions. He simply made excuses for why they sent this Debt Collection Notice which says they are "trying to collect a debt"! I suggest all people who complain about RoundPoint contact CFPB. They paid attention to this!

I've called several times but only get a voice service. First one said my mortgage had been transferred. 30 days later, still no notification in writing Then I logged into my Roundpoint account. It says my mortgage paid in full. Zero service.

This bank took two weeks for a mortgage to transfer and messed up my closing / payoff statement. This bank has ZERO customer service and I was unable to get a supervisor to help sort this out.

Roundpoint sold my mortgage to freedom mortgage within the last month, i was in a loan modification with roundpoint and now this freedom mortgage is saying they are a debt collector and they want 20k by august or they will foreclose ?? I have been making my payments to roundpoint . This is some kind of fraud and I now have to speak to a mortgage attorney to find out why my modification has not transferred to this freedom mortgage and why they are trying to be fraudulent and wont take my monthly mortgage payment and when you call the new place they just say oh we dont have any of that paperwork, but when are you going to pay this 20k ...Roundpoint was recently involved in a class action lawsuit, I wonder if this is happening to anyone else ?? Maybe we need another lawsuit ... this dosent make sense and I cant get any answers .

They sold my mortgage. I received the notification letter the day before my payment was due to the new company. This is not acceptable. Now I have to scramble to figure out how to pay the new company while I'm at work. For that matter I haven't received notification from the new company, Freedom Mortgage. From now on I'll only borrow from a local bank or credit union.

If I could I’d rate it below zero! Sold house, closed out loan; taxes paid ny purchaser; also disbursed from escrow account; cannot get access to customer service because loan is closed; sent many emails all unanswered; sent certified letter, received signed receipt but no response. Filed a complaint with nys Financial Services; filing a complaint with NYS Attorney General next. Want my $1293.45 back from Roundpoint. So disrespectful to customers who have paid off their loan. Over the course of the last several months I have spent well over 3 hours on the phone with multiple reps trying to get bi/weekly automatic payments (I.e every other Friday) set up. This is not that difficult. Yet this servicer cannot seem to get it right. I’ve filled out every form multiple times, and am even trying to OVERPAY on my account, and they continue to misallocate my funds telling me I’m a month behind when I’m reality I’m a month ahead. No one in the organization will respond to emails for a call and in all the calls I’ve made I’ve only experienced one rep who was any good (but still did not fix the issue). Even as recently as yesterday I’ve sent 3 emails with absolutely no contact in return. I’m hoping writing a public review will at least prompt someone over there to respond!
