Intuitive Podcast Recording
It's a very user-friendly platform to record podcasts - both video and audio. It provides really great AI functions that are very helpful for social media use and self-promotion. You have AI summaries - (video and audio!), transcripts and a helpful teleprompter when needed...and much more The experience is very intuitive and streamline.

Exceptional, User-Friendly Platform…
I think this platform is exceptional and has all the elements I need to create an audio-only podcast. Most of all, I’m finding it to be user friendly. I’d definitely recommend it to someone just getting started or a pro. I’m looking forward to pending updates, as well.

The platform is very unreliable
The platform is very unreliable. I have multiple tickets in and it seems to be never ending issues. Audio does not sync, video does not look 4K. The platform is all about hype and marketing but little on actually delivering. Customer "support" seem to be foreign VA's who don't know anything around the platform, only how to avoid fixing the issue without people getting upset. Extremely unreliable platform for podcasting and video. Waste of money.

Remote interviewing made easy!
We used Riverside for the first time this last week to interview our customer base and create clips for social strategies. It was simple for our customers to log in and be interviewed. The result with the AI assisted editing tools, transcription, and AI assisted clips was amazing. Branding the clips in their web-based tools is simple too. As someone who is accustom to editing in Adobe Premiere there was a little learning curve to editing but nothing that clicking around didn't solve. Great tool. I'm implementing it in 2 other companies too!

Using 4 years now & Features have evolved over time
Been using Riverside since Covid forced video production to be a remote affair (2020). In the 4 years I have been using Riverside, they have continuously updated the features without over complicating the experience. I use Riverside for recording high quality customer interviews for my clients. As you can imagine, the customers I reach out to have huge variance in how savvy they are with technical issues. 99% of the time, I’ve not had issues with making sure my interviewees can comply with the tech requirements no matter their age or technical ability. Since 2020 I have researched other recording platforms and haven’t found a better option. I don’t use the live stream features, just the recording features. Love the automatic transcript files and improved editing features (although I don’t do final edits in Riverside, but it’s helpful for editing first pass through interviews to remove dead air and pauses. Highly recommend if you need to capture high quality interviews remotely.
